Conveniently located next to the cinema, in a busy retail district, these guys were ready for the lunch crowd. We ordered 2... different specialty burgers and have house made chips & tater tots. Order from the counter, get a number and they bring toyou. Drinks - refill from machine or buy beverage can/bottle - including bottles beers, if you prefer. By the time we had ourdrinks and napkins, we were only at the table a couple of minutes, and our orders came out - hot & tasty. Each burger is handcrafted - here are the two we ordered. HELLO DOLLY BURGER - pimento cheese, bacon, fried green tomato & tomato jam on the 1/2pound burger and bun. RING OF FIRE BURGER - pepperjack cheese, jalapeño cream cheese, fried onion ring, jalapeño & chipotlesour cream on the burger & bun. Seating inside & out on a fenced in patio. I've been several times both on three Monday deal days and on other days. Burgers are amazing, you have the ability to choose... how they are cooked. The fries are alright but tator tots are my choice if I don't want to spend the extra for their onionrings. Onion rings are definitely worth it they are fresh, large, and crispy on the outside. Before I talked about PorterHouse Burger, I wanted thank my cousin for introduced me to PorterHouse Burger. I am more than... confident that PorterHouse will be my go-to burger spot. Because their burger is delicious. I usually go on a Monday because oftheir special. And honestly, I love to save some coins. When I order my food at the counter, their menu is similar to therestaurant of "Five Guys". You can assemble/personalized your own burger. Even though my burger was pretty simple but I like asimple burger. Overall, my burger and fries was good and I highly recommended to dine-in than takeout for a full experience. Read more
Friendly staff, clean, it?s a walk up and order at the counter place and they bring the food to your table. The portions are... huge. Everything was delicious, all 6 of us left stuffed. If you want a light meal this place isn?t it, but if you are treatingyourself with full indulgence, you?ll be pretty happy here. Read more
As per my usual SOP, I poured over the online menu for two days and today was our day! Hubs got the Bacon and Beef burger,... cooked medium with cheddar, he said it was delicious, and tots. My sister and I got the Fried Green Tomato BLT with tots andfries and my Bubba Bean got the crispy Chicken Wrap with hot chips. Everything was SO good. We could?ve split the FGTBLTbecause it was huge! The sourdough was crisp without tearing up the roof of my mouth ergo, perfect. I need to describe thebuild of this sandwich because I?ve never had another one built with such care. Here?s how it was layered from bottom up:sourdough, garlic aioli, lettuce, lots of crunchy bacon, thick cut crispy fried green tomato, MORE BACON, lettuce, MORE garlicaioli then sourdough. This sandwich had so much crunchy bacon that we ate what dropped out with a fork. I dug in so fast Ididn?t take a picture of the wrap but it was really stuffed with chicken. They were generous with all of our sides. the tots aresuper crunchy and my favorite, Deb?s fries were also crunchy and nicely salted, the hot chips were all crunch, no soggies. Hmmm,I really should mention the staff. We were greeted upon entrance by a very nice girl. They have a menu board but she alsooffered a large print menu to review. I requested my sourdough to be crisp and Hubs substituted the American cheese forcheddar. She rang it up without error, read it back to us to confirm and then we paid and tipped. I can?t tell you the lasttime a restaurant read back the order. I really appreciate that, because you aren?t left wondering about your special requests! The kitchen made everything perfectly, it was delivered to our table and we devoured it. This is the perfect place eat beforeafter a movie at the Palladium. Holly Cow!! Literally. I have had my fair share of burgers for 50 years, and PorterHouse Burger Company is right up there with... the very best. First off, it is nearly impossible to get anyone to cook you a medium rare burger any more, but they got itabsolutely perfect. I had the Southern Comfort burger and it was out of this world. And do not get me started on the honeybutter dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries. WOW. Just wow. And beyond amazing service. Yes, this will be a staple stopfor me when I come to town. Read more
The customer service is excellent. The fish sandwich was very good. The salad was fresh and green! My hubby had a patty melt... and said it was average at best and the fries were unimpressive. However, they do have a large menu so perhaps he'll findsomething he likes better next time. The place is very inviting and kid friendly. Read more
Holy cow! If you love burgers - this is THE place! They can make a burger medium rare first of all. Second of all, their... Jam-tastic burger is killer!
