Bria was AMAZING!!! My wife was having a rough day so we went on an impromptu date night!!! Bria had such an infectious attitude... and single handedly turned my wife?s mood 180 degrees!!! Just left Outback Steakhouse High Point, NC and I must say it was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Thankfully we... had gift cards to pay for our food with. The restaurant wasn't even half full and still waited for atleast 20 minutes for oursalads. When we finally saw our server and asked about the wait his reply was "they should be out soon, our salad guy is realslow". Salads finally arrived and I had ordered mine without onions but it came with onions. I had waited so long to get thesalad so I didn't complain. Our server saw me picking the onions off and never offered to take it back to have it fixedcorrectly. Instead the comment was "our salad guy doesn't read the tickets good" and walked off. For the most part our food wasgood; my husband's steak was overcooked and his potato undercooked. The only time we saw our server through the entire meal wasas he walked by our table. He never pre-bussed our table so all our bread plates and salad bowls remained stacked on the end ofthe table. We were never offered refills on our drinks and had to ask another server who delivered our food for the extracondiments we needed, which she relayed to our server and he delivered them. We ate dinner at Outback tonight because my husband was given a gift card by a friend. We had never been before, and I'm glad... that it was covered by a gift card for the most part. I'll start with the positive, which was that our server was veryattentive, polite, and our drinks stayed filled. However, the service really didn't stand up to the poor experience we had withthe quality of food. The appetizer wasn't bad, but realistically, it's very hard to mess up fries that are covered in cheese andbacon. My husband's sirloin had the strangest texture that I've ever encountered in a steak (it was somehow chewy but not all atthe same time), wasn't really seasoned, and left an odd, slightly charred taste in the mouth. My chicken was decent, but nothingspecial, and definitely not worth the price for a piece of fried chicken breast. The creamed spinach was the pretty terrible -it basically tasted like creamy grass clippings. My mashed potatoes were basically just potatoes, no seasoning, no butter, noliquid to speak of, and had a sort of film over them that require some stirring to get rid of. The only really decent part ofthe actual meal was the mac and cheese, but it was very, very peppery. Almost overwhelmingly so. Overall the Victoria filet mignon was what you would expect from a filet. Definitely a good option if you?re not up for cooking... or want to spend real steakhouse money. This location just like many other restaurants changed with covid. I swore I rememberthe food being more flavorful. When picking up food, it takes awhile to receive it. I wish they would just be upfront thatthey?re short on staff and it may be slow. That way whom ever is pickup the food isn?t waiting 45min+ after being told the foodis ready. Read more

Had a wonderful time and experience here! Waitress was attentive and helpful. She gave us some great suggestions which made it... easier to pick what to eat. Would definately go back if in the area again! Last time I was in an Outback Steakhouse was 10 yearsago, so it was nice to go back to one and see the quality of food & service is being maintained.
