It was a chilly day in High Point NC and we ordered Fried Pickles for appetizer. Chili and Corn bread and Pinto Beans and corn... bread.Perfect for a chilly fall day. Our server Darius was fantastic! He let me sample the chili to see how spicy it was. Neverlet our drinks get empty, had great knowledge of the food and brought everything out hot and in order. Plus Darius was so politeand eager to help us. Food was delicious! Restaurant is clean and nice atmosphere. Definitely will return. Read more

Really pretty inside , clean, the waitress was very sweet , the prices where kinda high but prices of food as gone up... everywhere. I paid 23 dollars for two Jamaican Beach sliders onion rings and a brownie called a mud pie of with ice cream itwas really good . The onion rings were kind of crunchy I mean I liked it but my mom was with me and she didn't necessarily likethem much as me but she is kinda picky she paid about ten dollars for her onion rings. Ok so the prices are high but is afancy place so just make sure you are ready to spend over 40 dollars for a good meal. It depends on what you get worth it tome. Read more

Fried pickles were good but the ranch portion was tiny. I asked for my burger well done. It was medium rare. Bun was very... soggy and the cook poured what seemed like a gallon of mustard on the burger. Fries were delicious. Husband's Reuben was verygood. Server was very friendly and great to keep drinks topped off, but waiting to order and waiting on the check took forevereven though they weren't very busy... likely because they're understaffed like everywhere else. Be forewarned they have a cashprice and a card price. $47+ tip for a burger, a Reuben, an appetizer and two soft drinks. I don't think I'll be returning. It's too bad because this place used to be top notch. Read more

My friend and I went here for lunch and absolutely delicious. We started with the Cracklins pork rinds with homemade pimento... cheese dip, this was the best, the pork rinds where still popping so fresh! I had the Woodlands grilled chicken, absolutelyhands down the best chicken sandwich I have had in a very long time! My friend got the Biltmore burger, she said that was the freshed burger she has had, you could tell the burger was fresh meat not frozen. Darius was our waiter and he done a fantasticjob!!! Excellent service great price for the quality, wonderful food!! The restaurant and bathroom exceptionally clean!!!Thanks for a great lunch!!! We will definitely return! Read more

People have been telling me about Lone Star for a couple of years now, and I finally decided to try them out a few weeks ago. To... be honest, I was a little underwhelmed by the experience for a few reasons. The biggest is the servers: there were about sixservers for a very small dining room, and as we went when they weren't busy, it was a little disappointing to see the employeesall just standing around at the hostess station on their phones. I wouldn't mind so much if the floor under the table where wewere seated wasn't absolutely filthy (there was clearly time to clean). Our server wasn't overly friendly. All in all, it justgave the place a strange vibe. The food was honestly good but not great. I got a burger with brisket on it, and the brisket wasamazing. However, the burger patty was under seasoned by comparison, but the toppings saved it. I didn't like the onion rings -the batter just sort of slid right off and I was left holding a cooked, slightly wet onion. The onion ring sauce tasted almostentirely of horseradish, which I love, but this was overkill. Their ranch wasn't great, and tasted like it came straight from aKraft bottle. It was a decent meal, but I can't see myself feeling the urge to go back. Read more
