Perfect family restaurant for our young family. The kids got colouring sheets and crayons and a kids menu that they ordered... from. We ordered an omelette and country fried steak. The food was tasty, portions were great, and friendly service. Definitelycoming back. Read more
Went out with my husband and kids, I ordered a cup of soup and Cobb salad. They ordered other standard fare. They all got their... meals, I was told mine would be there right away. 20 min later, when they were pretty much done eating, they brought me thewrong salad- one I don't like, never got the soup. I said forget about it, you can take it back. My family is pretty much done.If it was busy I would understand more. But it was not. It also took over 20 min to get refills on a couple of sodas. It'sfrustrating because it was the simplest order- I'm not a Karen but that was ridiculous. Usually when people go out to eat, theyget their food at pretty much the same time so they finish around the same time. If I wanted to eat it at home I would haveordered take out. I always drive from the nwt to alberta and hardly ever stop to sit down in high level. I did today, and I will do again. The... staff was lovely, the food was deeelicious! It was a clean, friendly dining experience. It didn't take long to get my food, I amthoroughly impressed. Thank you Dennys! I'm so glad you are here in High Level. I have been about 6 times so far, the food is about average for Denny's but I do find the portions to be very small. The service... leaves allot to be desired, there is a guy who is about mid 30s to early 40s who is probably the least friendly server I haveever had in my life. No smile, no hello, no nothing, just a grumpy face who makes it rather obvious he does not want to beserving tables. Its just too awkward for us to deal with him so we stopped going for now until they get that situation sortedout. Having a friendly server really makes or breaks the experience. I have heard several other people complain about himalso. I wish Denny's opened earlier 6am instead of 7am as then I could get breakfast before work, I'm rather surprised theychanged their hours to open at 7, as most of the town in employed at the mills and they start work at 7. They must be losingout on allot of business because of this. Read more
