Everything is fresh! Bread is homemade baked yummies are homemade and so is their small batch ice cream. Items in the fridge for... a quick to-go. Coffee is made in smaller pots so it always fresh. Eat in or outside in the unique decor. The reason for 4 starsis because the wait for food can be legnthy... I'd make the rating 4.5. check their hours before you go... Definitely go. Read more

I am a High Bridge native and LOVE the Polka Dot Cafe! They opened about 3 years ago now and have been a great addition to our... neighborhood. Some of my faves are their Meatloaf sandwich, Ritzoli Cannoli ice cream (or any of their flavors for that matter)and my go to is their amazing Iced Coffee. They make coffee ice cubes so that the iced coffee doesn't get diluted. The flavoris AMAZING! Beats Starbucks by a mile! More importantly they are a small business and have wonderful people running it. ILOVE this place and highly recommend trying anything on their menu, it's made with skill and love. Amazing monthly tea at the Poka Dot Cafe! This is a hidden treasure with all food items sold, being homemade from scratch,... under the supervision of a nutritionist. Many different types of breads, soups, entrees, ice cream and baked goods. Even did alow carb lunch, as a favor to me at this tea! Started out with deviled eggs, celery and blue cheese soup, two salads , roastedchicken, ice cream with cranberry compote and of course an amazing selection of teas! Even offer low cost peanut buttersandwiches and hot dogs for the kids. Truly a culinary delight and you?ll enjoy the welcoming ?at home? atmosphere that theowner, Christina extends to every guest.
