First time at a hotpot, and I was impressed! Let's start with the atmosphere. The restaurant is nicely decorated, has a cozy... feel, and was pretty clean for the most part. This could be a date spot for sure, but by no means do you have to dress up. Theservice was very good. We were seated right away, and a waitress got us started with our orders. We had a couple of questionsthat were answered right away. There was an older couple who had a ton of questions, and the waitress literally walked themthrough everything. Even took them to the back to show them the sauces and extras. They were all polite, and I really can't raveenough about them. Now for the main event, THE FOOD! Ordering was simple, check the boxes you want, and that's it. Any mistakescan be fixed since the waitress goes over it with you. We opted for a large, 2 soup bowl. It was tremendous in size. We actuallydidn't finish it. We picked the mushroom broth and the pork leg broth. The mushroom one was light but strong and had mushroomsalready cooking in it. The pork was a rich creamy white with some type of sweet fruit and corn in it. For mix in stuff, we wentwith a combo 1 just because it was easy. All 4 meats had strong flavor profiles, but the beef and pork belly tasted similar whencooked. The veggies and fungus cooked up very well, and the lettuce held so much broth flavor. The noodles were a pain in thebutt to cook, and that's the only thing I don't think I'll order again. We did order the spicy beef tripe for an appetizer, andit was fantastic. The texture was good, not too chewy. And the flavor was so strong. Highly recommended as long as you don'tmind what it is. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I'll come back. Next time, I'll try a smaller lunch portion. Read more

4.5 stars overall. Leaning towards 5 since there are few hotpot places on LI. For me 5 stars! Because not all hot pot places... have juicy beef balls, which is like a dumpling made of beef ???? Portions are decent for the price. Dad really liked theshrimp. Shared beef and pork belly. Would be nice to see a leaner short rib cut. Sauce selection is good, with lots of options.Still would like to see hoisin sauce though. Herbal broth is solid. I added bbq and chili sauce to taste. What kept me from 5stars is the beef and pork quality. It's VERY good, but 5 stars good? Needs a tiny bit more. Read more

4.5 stars - Nice/vintage/unique decor; the booth seats just needed a bit more lighting. - The lunch special mini hotspot was a... fair deal. The herbal broth was great and tasted very homemade with all the herbal ingredients. - The ma la tang was deliciousas well. A bit different from the flushing ones. Read more

I have it written a review in sometime but this place deserves my attention. It was absolutely Incredible. The interior was... beautiful and spotless. The service was friendly and attentive and the food could not have been any fresher. We got the spicybutter broth, bone broth combo. The condiment bar was full with an array of sauces, condiments toppings? They even had a littlerecipe for for you to make different sauces. And the condiment bar even had fresh cut oranges to cleanse your palate. This is asgood as any hot pot Place in Flushing. And it?s right here on Long Island. They also had a nice Friday of fresh teas and Boba.Highly recommend and can?t wait to come back. Read more

Finally Long Island gets a hot pot place. We were the only non Asian people inside but we eat hot pot all the time in... flushing. Staff was extremely friendly towards us. Place was beautifully decorated. Food quality was very good Beer was perfectwith the hot pot Pro Tip- get the lotus root. Cooks for a long time but man thats awesome. Also-learn how to make a hot potsauce so you don?t look like an amateur *1 year update. Returned to Pot Asia. Amazing hot pot place with amazing meat qualityfood. Look at the photos of the inside of the restaurant. Looks so cool. I was very intrigued by the business card. Very nicedesign. We ordered the half tomato half bone stock broth. Due to COVID they pre-made the sauces for you which very delicious andsome spicy some nutty some sweet. They also bring out a little thing of appetizer consisting of peanuts, woodear mushrooms, seaweed salad, and homemade potato salad. We ordered a beer/lamb/chicken combo along side some hand pulled noodles because youhave to have that to finish the meal. Everything was exquisite very fun experience as always. Read more
