The owner was super nice - customer service 10/10. However I don?t know what to make of the onion rings side I got? 6 rings... total. Portions of all other food weren't too bad, just the sides. But as I said, great people working, if I could rate on thatalone it would be 5/5 easily. Read more
Our first visit to Peri Peri Guys had us try their wings, burger, tenders, fries and corn. The grilled wings had a... lightly-smoked flavor, available with a few sauce choices. The popular Lemon & Herb had an accurate flavor profile, the Mango &Lime was more synthetic and confusing, the Mild had that classic Peri Peri taste, the Hot had the best flavor of them all with aspice kick, and the Very Hot was very close to Desi achar. Amongst the burgers, the Mountain featured naturally-tasty beef witha soft brioche and sauce that we all enjoyed. Fries were crispy, corn on the cob was fresh and the tenders were the only breadeditem so they were delicious. Hafeez, the owner, was receptive to feedback (and even shared he wasn't a big fan of his Mango &Lime sauce either) and Jaz took good care of us. We enjoyed our time at Peri Peri Guys and look forward to seeing what new andexciting items they'll offer. Read more
Excellent food and customer service. The owner will solve all your problems with his utmost hospitality and respect. Treats you... like family. All the employees do. Fries were probably the best I?ve ever ha. Perri Fries. Seasoned extremely well, crunchy onthe outside, creamy on the inside. Grass fed beef patties won?t disappoint. Give em a try. Read more
Ventured out to Hicksville and found this gem!Very flavorful and juicy chicken! Tried The KING burger and it was perfectly... seasoned and crispy. The wings were very succulent and had an appropriate amount of sauce. The sauces aren't too spicy so Iwould recommend trying a sauce one level up on the scale. Onion rings were crunchy and had a good crunch to them. Mac and cheesecould use a little salt but was still top-tier. As soon as you open the door to Peri-Peri, the wonderful, savory smell of roasted chicken fills your lungs, reinvigorating your... body as it anticipates the glorious meal to come. I felt they could sense my attempt to gather my thoughts as I fought myravenous hunger with fork and knife in hand. Once the meal arrived, there was no longer a need to tame my beastly hunger. I tookthe first bite and instantly fell into a world of silence and euphoria. Before I knew it, my mind had seated me in the brillianthalls of Valhalla. Ferraro Rocher milkshake in one hand and the succulent Peri-Peri chicken in the other! Even the variety ofsauces given to us beckoned me to try them, justifying my madness! As I stroked my metaphorical Viking beard, I peered directlyat my comrade from across the table... Not only did he devour the delectable crispy cauliflower bites, he too was in his worldof ecstasy. He was likely praising his Indian gods for such delicious chicken! Usually good but I noticed a few off things. Tried calling in my order bc the prices online are higher but no picked up. Still... determined I got to the restaurant and noticed not a single person was wearing a mask as required by law. Despite betterjudgment I still placed an order explaining I can not eat spicy and was recommended lemon and herb chicken. Got home to findspicy Peri Peri chicken instead :/ Read more
We visited NYC from PR and we love to support the small local restaurants. We decided to try the Peri Peri Guys, Portuguese and... African cuisine; and we LOVED IT! the service was amazing, the vibe was chill, the place is beautiful, and OMG the FOOD, theflavors was BOMB! We believe this is the best chicken with mango lime sauce in Long Island! They also, have vegetarian and veganoptions. Definitely a MUST when you go to New York! Read more
I always prefer to patronize a ?local? business rather than a chain. It always has a story and someone who?s gracious to have... you as a customer. The owner here is an extremely personable guy with a great back story behind the restaurant. Food was great,restaurant was very clean. Read more
