Edit: was told by owners several months back that they were leaving the place and new owners took over after short change. I... feel like the biria quality took a hit and they changed the ingredients used on some items (soggy plain fries instead ofseasoned crisp curly fries in biria burrito) . Also the presentation dropped down to be bare minimum. Really sad because I ateTakeout here like 2x a week since I live down the block. Previous 5 star: I live around the area and come here for my favoriteBiria burrito. It's some of the better Biria I've had on LI. Just had nachos that were very good and two drinks. Drink was tasty but a bit shy on the alcohol especially for the price.

Ordered a birria burrito. It was okay-ish. The salsa had good flavor and the consume was not bad. The rest of it didn?t have... much flavor though. General impression was grease, mush from the frozen crinkle fries and meh flavor. Read more

Ordered and picked up 6 minutes away from our hotel an order of chicken tacos (3included) a steak quesadilla(nothing but steak... and cheese) and a piece of cake. All was wet, nasty and disgusting. Cake was dripping wet and melting, quesadilla was not onefull one... it was half ? Both tacos and quesadilla were soggy, cold and oily . I visited Nelly's today with my wife and loved this place! This place is a local gem for us in Hicksville! We ended up having... lunch with a few different tacos and plantina. 1. Great menu 2. Great food 3. Feels fresh & authentic 4. Have beers andmargarita 5. Amazing customer service Very down to earth folks work there and they work hard to ensure every customer is happyeverytime! I ended up walking out without paying for something I added at the end and tried to call back to pay for it but theperson there was an absolute gentleman and was extremely - even thou I made the mistake!
