Was in this shop a month ago. Went up to the counter, waited for cashier to acknowledge me. He proceeded to take my order and a... cook said we're closed. I was confused as it was only 7pm and dude didn't elaborate, cashier looked scared. I said w u t ...andhe said they ran out of buns so they are closing. Sadly the Carle Place location closed down for good. Yes they were open during the height if the pandemic but sadly a few weeks... ago we noticed it was gone. This location is closest to us and we were craving the fries and hamburger. Simply delicious. Thecashier was very nice and was helping out the kitchen staff as it was slightly busy. I usually like Five Guys, but this one is not worthy of the franchise. It was quiet and clean when I walked in. There were four... others seated at a table, enjoying their lunch. There was no one to serve me. While waiting I knocked on the counter and calledout hello. No response. I wondered if it might have been closed, but didn't seem possible on a Monday at 1:30 in the afternoon.On my way out I happened to catch glimpse of an employee, sitting on a counter in the back, playing on their phone.
