The all beef hotdogs were small and did not have the snap I like when I bite into a good hotdog. The toppings were good.
Best hotdogs in town! Their chili is wonderful ~ regular and spicy. Try the BBQ sandwich too...yummy!
I'm new to the area. I've asked around about the best places to eat and Dawg Pound was the #1 spot recommended for hot dogs... (which I LOVE). The locals know! The Chicago dog was fantastic! The bun is locally made, very fresh and soft; it takes this hotdog over the top. The toppings were fresh, flavorful and paired perfectly together on top of the equally flavorful hot dog. Thecelery salt sprinkled on top is just WOW! The service was impeccable; the waitress was super nice and made my first time visitsuch a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend Dawg Pound. I have went here a lot was going 2 to 3 times a week until today I will not be back I was eating and noticed MOLD on my sandwich... bun and my passengers also found mold on their sandwiches as well I think with 5 sandwiches with mold on the buns it should betaken back and we took it back up there and the very rude cook came out seen it and started complaining and yell about how hedidn?t know how it would of got there they were fresh buns and proceeded to tell me not to come up there saying that it?s notgood for business and to leave I wouldn?t even give it 1 star if I could after this experience Read more

Good food, but be prepared to pay more than you'd think for hot dogs. Wait can be long sometimes too, even with few cars.
