I have to say that this place has changed so much regarding customer service and attitude of the waitresses. I understand the... owner changed. I remember when the Garcia family owned the place they were like bees at work. All the waitresses always busy andso nice. But it was managed professionally. No bread on tables, I really missed the warm rolls of bread and the natural butterprepared by Georgina the wife of the previous owner. I am sorry, I didn't want make negative comments, but the truth is thetruth. Some of the waitreses talking and sitting, most of them looking at their phones. I had to take a look at them or callthem. They really need training or desire to work well. I heard a customer asking a waitress for the ceviche, the customerasked: What is it like? What do you think? The waitress answered: ' - I don't really know. I haven't tried it because I havebeen here for a short time. " Unbelievable and it's really sad because this place is beautiful, and the food tastes acceptable. Read more
Over all good restaurant! I was in town and looked up seafood restaurants and this restaurant came up. The parking was a bit... hectic people were parked in front each other and blocking each other?s cars in but I was able to find a spot Across the streetsince lit attacked only held five cars. I visited around lunchtime (11am-12pm) so it was a nice amount of people in therestaurant, was able to get seated immediately upon entering and they came over with bread and butter. The bread tasted good butit was not warm, had it been warm it would?ve been amazing. I started with lobster empanadas that were hot and amazing theydidn?t taste of lobster it just taste of seafood but still really good, the seafood ceviche which was small but amazing and thenmoved on to the cream of shrimp soup that was absolutely phenomenal. For my main I ordered the whole fried snapper it was $17.99per pound and my server let me know that it?s normally 1 to 2 pounds so that I should anticipate pay it about $30 for the fish,I was OK with that since I did not want a small piece of fish it came out pretty big it was steaming hot! My sides were yellowrice which was not warm and a side salad which consisted of a few pieces of lettuce with a few slices of tomatoes and onions andthey had carry out packs of ranch dressing for salad. My friend ordered the lobster ravioli and unfortunately as we assumed theywere bringing our food out they were letting us know that they did not have the ravioli so it definitely extended our time inthe restaurant I was over halfway done eating before my friend receive their meal. It was working it all food was good, servicewas kind an restaurant was clean. I?d return for sure when back in Miami. Read more
