Attended the RSVP, volunteer appreciation dinner for Harvey county. Our first time at the restaurant. Service and food (pork... loin) was good. Had a hard time making a dessert decision between the lemon and chocolate cake..so we shared. Congratulationsand thank you to all of the volunteers. And to Doris for her 20 year service award. I was actually pleasantly surprised. When I first walked up and saw it was in a community/senior center I thought this might... very well be a poor experience. Not so, the waitresses were very pleasant, the food was actually pretty darn good, not ultrafine dining but our table had three very different dishes and they all came out together, hot, as ordered and tasted good. The food is always fresh and made in-house. It is impeccably clean. The service is very good. And, the atmosphere lends itself... to being a place you would be happy to take someone out to lunch or dinner. And all of these benefits at incredibly reasonableprices. While the location can feel a little odd, once in the restaurant proper, it is a place you will add to your list ofdate, meeting and parents-out-to-lunch places. Great breakfast. Had the biscuits and gravey a ND the portion was generous and well-seasoned.
