I discovered Harvest of India back in 2005 when we first moved to Reston. At the time, our financial resources were quite... limited, and this buffet provided us with an amazing meal, for a reasonable price that was laid back and welcoming. We went sooften that the main waitress at the time, Lilly, got to know us personally. She saw our family grow by one child and thenanother. My kids refer to the place as "Lilly's Place." We moved away in 2010 and didn't go as often. During COVID and out ofnowhere, my youngest requested Lilly's Place for her birthday! She was 9 and had probably not been there for five years. Theplace is as great as I remember. The buffet always has something spectacular and I love trying all the sauces. The raita isfresh and delicious, and they serve fresh Naan. Last time my daughter and I went (Aug. 2022), they had opened up a section with"Indian street food." Although we didn't check it out, I'm super excited to go back and see what they have to offer. Everyoneis always very friendly. The food is delicious. The place is calm and welcoming, and doesn't make one feel weird for bringingchildren. For over a decade, it has been a place where my children can discover new food and flavors, and expand theirknowledge of the world. I get the feeling they have not been getting the traction they need, so I implore you, please give thema chance and go support this wonderful restaurant. We will be going much more often now that I know that it is still there withit's usual friendly smiles and amazing food. Please note: I am European by birth and have lived the majority of my life inEurope, South America and North America (to include Mexico). I do not know what "typical" or "real" Indian food is nor can Imake any distinction of what is considered traditional or not. I just know that I love it and will encourage all to go - nomatter where you're from. Read more

I loved the food! Not salty like a couple of other places I?ve been to. Their Avial was so good! The place is kept clean, and... staff are nice. I wish they?d wipe the tables better because it felt slightly sticky. Read more

Tasty and not too expensive. We visited for lunch and apparently it's a all-you-can-eat buffet with various but all delicious... Indian dishes. Staff are very polite and friendly, overall the place is much better than I expected from reading the oldreviews. Read more

Harvest of India was better! I understand Supper Club of India has the same owner, but the food is not as good. Chicken Tikka... Makhanwala was too sweet. Yellow Dal was watery. Even the Naan was not up to par. I will not return. Read more

The food is quite good. However much of the food is a little spicy hot which I personally find too hot for me. Some of my family... loves the spicy food. They do offer some highly hot spiced food. I understand that it is very good, but none our guests havetried it. They also have a nice buffet at lunch and at other times during the week. The buffet gives you a chance to tastedifferent Indian foods without having to order a whole dish. Read more

I went to SupperClub of India for dinner on Sunday 04192015. We were well received and seated, we ordered for Samosa, Chicken... Makhani, Yellow Dal and Rotis. The food was flavorful and delicious, service was 5 star. Though the house was kinda full, wewere not neglected. Highly recommended. Read more

I love this place. Truly LOVE it, and I consider myself a discerning customer (some ex-boyfriends might say a snob). I've been... a Supper Club fan for years, but began eating at Harvest of India when the two restaurants combined. I've never had a bad mealor a poor experience at either location. The service is always excellent: timely and attentive. I prefer vegetarian disheswhen I dine out and those have been my menu choices at this establishment as well, but I've never been disappointed with asingle menu selection and have snobbish friends with broader ranges of taste who also love to dine here. I can only imaginethat those reviewers who gave the restaurant only 1 star must genuinely have it confused with another place, because they don'tdescribe this restaurant at all. Read more
