Great sushi spot in the Herndon area. I ordered for pickup and the wait time was a reasonable 20 minutes. Their indoor dining... seemed great with pretty decor. The host was nice and patient as he got my order and rang me up for payment. Although the sushiis pricey (as usual), it was all delicious. Highly recommend the shrimp tempura! Though we have ordered from this place multiple times for pick up and delivery, this is our first time dining in for a late... dinner. Place is super clean, very calming, the staff is very attentive and excellent customer service. Food is very good. Ramenis on point, Japanese style chicken curry was delicious, siomai was also good and to top it off with fried ice cream and hotgreen tea was perfect. We will be back. Read more
When you first open the Resturant door , a clean smell flows toward you - fresh- woods smell . Everything is in tip top shape... from the door to the tables to the bathrooms. The food itself tastes clean . Very excellent preparation, every cook is on top ofhis performance. The food was just lovely ? tasty that you would think you were in another place like Japan itself . Ignorance is bliss. This was my favorite place. One of my favorite appetizers is the Potato Shrimp. Recently when I tried to... order it, I was informed the supplier is out of stock. It is a sad day when it is too hard to peel a potato into the shoe stringand then wrap it around a shrimp and fry it. I wish that this was my only issue. My second favorite appetizer is the TunaStack. Who doesn?t love Tuna. Well when I ordered it, it was much different than the previous times I had had it, and it did nothave cucumbers like the menu stated. I looked through other photos posted, and the Tuna Stack has gone through many iterations,but I don?t think the menu has ever been updated to reflect the changes nor variations. This a BIG deal consider allergies. Youcan?t advertise one thing but present another. People can get sick or worse. Tuna stack this was not. There was more filler thanfish. From what I could make out, tasted more like radish variant than pear. I ordered the Super Rainbow Roll because it haddouble the fish. As you can see in the picture it just looks like a regular rainbow roll. Consistency and quality islacking. Lastly, when I arrived I was told I had to wait which is totally understandable. While waiting a group of four arrivedand said they had a reservation. The lady at the front scoffed with a sound in response and then walked away. The group waseventually seated. When it came time for me to be seated, I looked around there were 6 seats at the sushi bar, 4 tables, 1 largetable, and 2 booths open. In the time that I had been waiting, only 4 people had left. I was less than impressed with the quality and taste of the sushi, I had to spit out section of the tuna. The fried rice, was... greasy. They served my meal with sesame seeds even after asking for them to leave them off. The staff was unfriendly. Read more
