My brother and I rented out two bikes from Green Lizard Cycling for the whole day to ride the W&OD Trail. The bikes were in... great condition and the price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend Green Lizard Cycling for their bike rental service! Read more

Nobody I trust more than the crew... at Green Lizard for bike maintenance and repair, their quality and attention to detail can’t be beat. *Update (28 June 2022) - After posting my initial review I was contacted by the shop owner. We had a very pleasant conversation... wherein he expressed a great deal of concern about my experiences and appreciation for my feedback. I\'m revising my reviewaccordingly from three to four stars.*\n\nI recently purchased a bike here, which means my relationship with this shop will belong-term. Although I\'m identifying some areas that were not this shop\'s strengths, my hope is that through reading thisreview their processes can be improved & my relationship with them won\'t be tarnished as a result.\n\nPros:\n> Very competitivepricing\n> Excellent selection of all things bicycles\n> Bike fitting by a certified fitting specialist is included with bikepurchase\n> Military/veteran\'s discount is available to those who served\n> Great on-site coffee/beer bar with an excellentselection\n> Accommodating with repairs even when busy & without an appointment\n\nCons:\n> Repairs aren\'t always successfullycompleted\n> Service estimates are wildly inaccurate\n> Friendliness from some staff is painfully lacking\n\nOn thecons/opportunities for growth, I have some recent experiences that informed this review. I developed a flat & took it to theshop for repair - unfortunately it was not done well. Thinking it was a pinch flat, the initial approach to repair was toremove the tubes from both existing tires & complete a tubeless upgrade on both. Although accommodating to do therepair/upgrade without an appointment (though I did call the day before, spoke to Jenny who spoke to the folks in the shop, whotold me to bring it in the next morning, only to arrive and get blank stares by all the staff), after the initial repair/upgradewas completed, I drove home & upon taking my bike off the rack, saw that one of the tires was completely flat. After inflatingthe tire, air was flowing out from the sidewall, which had me wondering how in the world was this not noticed when the tir Read more

I bought a great bike from these guys. Espresso is good and a nice place to stop on a ride up the WO&D.

Great customer service! Exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Green Lizard Cycling for all your bike needs. I visited this... store looking for a bike travel case and some advice. The team went above and beyond and their service definitely shows theycare about their customers. They packed my bike in one of their rental program bike travel cases and ensured I had all therequired items to enjoy my ride at my travel destination.\n5 STAR PLUS kind of service. Thanks so much! FIRST TIME with a repair - not transparent and misleading - which resulted in a TOUR DE bill that Lance Armstrong couldn\'t pay.... My chief concerns are: 1) there was no notice to the bike owner as to what needed to be fixed 2) You would assume that with a140$ tune up they won\'t charge 15$ to put on a bike chain. 3) the result was 350$ for a tune up, spokes, chain and brake pads.Half of which I could have done myself. And LISTEN, I\'m pro-small bike shops, the customer service was great at the front end,but on the back end you REALLY TAKE IT. Basically, it took a week and half to fix the issue, but there was no notice for whatneeded to be done. I could have saved at least 150$ on doing half of the things myself.\n\nCOVID is over and bike shops arestill busy, but this was a disappointment in terms of process. I can say the repairs were great, but there is an expectation oftransparency despite the conditions. Read more

Excellent experience shopping for a new bike for almost a year. Many good conversations where it was clear what were personal... preferences and what was proven fact. No pressure, just a love of bikes and all forms of cycling. As a lifelong rider andsometime racer, having the coaching and chats with Clovis were a blessing and resulted in an impressive new ride! 2019Cannondale Synapse 105 SE Read more
