We stopped at Chatwala by hearing the ad on Radio. I was waiting for almost 2+ years to have such a good vada pav and I have... been craving for one since then. Vada Pav didn?t disappoint us at all, correctly spiced and very tasty. Pani Puri was good aswell. For me winner was Vada pav. We are surely gonna stop regularly for it. Next time we are gonna try out different dishes onthe menu. The person who owns Chatwala is very welcoming and the best part was he spoke my mother tongue which i get to hearrarely not to mention about it, But I felt this should also go on the review ???????? We went to eat indian street food. We took three items. Pav Vaji, Vada Pav was very good. Alo tikki was ok. The price is a bit... high in my point, but that compensates. Good taste. Hopefully, they will keep this price (everything was $8). Wanna go again. Read more

By far the most authentic and delicious tasting chat food in the entire east coast according to me! The vada pav and misal pav... are fantastic and the pav (Indian dinner rolls) taste exactly like they are in India! Pani puri is delicious too! My experience with the place is okays to say, ordered aloo tikki chaat and vada pav , the chaat is good to taste, the aloo tikki... is spicy. The snacks corner and the main restaurant is separate section, ordered for hyderabadi chicken biryani and kadaichicken. The biryani is moderately priced but is not very tasty, also the chicken was like floating in some tomato gravy. Read more

This by far the best chaat place in town. The owner is an entrepreneur and does this out of passion and not just because he... needs to run the place and the results can be seen. Every dish is customized to specifically what you are having, or you love,depending on what the owner has seen you enjoy. It's not the same old everytime. Lot's of experimentation. Love this place. CHAATWALA is so good, I ate my wife?s portion of the chaat as well :) Clean & Mericulous, this stall is a hidden-gem inside... Supper Club of India and definitely a local gem in Herndon. This is the second time we're here. The Samosa Chaat was so good we finished it so fast I didn't even have the chance to take... pictures lol. I tried Murg Phaal.
