Don’t let the pictures fool you. I imagined this place from the great photos to be a little more elegant. But it’s a mix... between fancy and just a bar. However, it’s nice. The food is really good. Charcuterie was fantastic, they have some uniquedrinks that are good. The service was good not great. The flower wall is great for those with social media. We only had drinks. But, there is something missing here. The space feels … sparse, too bright, “echoey” and loud, no... vibe. Needs help, quick. This new stretch of restaurants on Hermosa Ave is odd, and without character. And this one does nothingfor it. Is this someone’s tax writeoff? Sad state for Hermosa Beach. Read more
Wanted to enjoy this experience so much, has so much potential. Some food was great- dumplings and flank steak were... favorites.. Cons- bathrooms were filthy, watched the chef dig his hands into the pasta dish before service to our table, andthe waitress dropped of a bottle of white and glasses- but we had to open it (screw top) and pour ourselves. Decadence is one of the best places to eat in Hermosa! The drinks are great, the staff is energetic and the food is delicious!!... My favorites are the Hermosa Breeze cocktail, the mussels, Flatiron Steak and of course warm cookies with milk to end my thenight. The ambience just topped off the experience! I definitely would reccomend anyone new to Hermosa to go into Decadence! Read more
This is a wonderful restaurant! We had never been here before we visited last night. We chose this wonderful place and are so... happy that we did! Our service was five stars and so was the food! Super unprofessional... The only thing I liked was the vibe of the bar! The food was ok but don’t worth it at all! Nothing... special! I brought my bday cake to celebrate my birthday there. But they cut my cake! We didn’t ask them to cut the cake.Seriously I was so mad... we only told to bring the cake on the table. Who would want their birthday cake to be cut withanother person ?! The name says it all "Decadence" my restaurant crew of about a dozen people went there last night 4/29. First, the place is... gorgeous! The owner Skylar was a great host! Very welcoming and attentive to our needs. The chef knocked it out of the ballpark! From the appetizers to the main courses! Our group tried a little bit of everything. Everything was so delicious!! Therestaff was top notch. While we were chowing down on the great food. They made us excellent handcrafted cocktails . They alsohave a impressive wine assortment, my favorite.
