Adnin is a delight. The food is lovely. The Hand of Fatima appetizer has hummus, harissa, pesto, tapenade and olives served... with wedges of bread. The tapenade was especially good. Our soup was tomato bisque with a dab of cream on top, herbs and a bitof crunch. We had the small plate of roasted eggplant, and larger plates of tabil branzino (which is fish - I am allergic, butmy husband says it was "quite tasty") and lamb meatballs with large couscous (about the size of early peas) in m'hansa, a tomatobased gravy. Though ostensibly meant to be shared "family style", we would have been better off getting more large plates.Still, I didn't leave hungry. Dessert was the rose trifle. The lezan mascarpone resembles rose infused whipped cream. The lemonin the poundcake was subtle. Bits of strawberry and blueberry were bursts of flavor. The Milbrandt Chardonnay was crisp andclean, pairing well with the savories and the sweets. Because of health concerns, we sat outside. The downside was that thechairs need more cushioning. The wood ones are hard on elderly backsides, and the metal ones are a bit narrow. Read more

I was pleasantly surprised upon arriving at Barsha, located in an obscure parking lot this hidden gem offers amazingly delicious... Tunisian delights. We were greeted by the owner Adnen Marouani, who was so funny and kind. We decided to sit at their outdoormakeshift patio (made during covid, thankfully stuck around to seat more customers and of course makes them dog friendly). Thedécor and restaurant itself are absolutely beautiful. The location is only a few blocks from the beach and guess what… youdon’t have to look or pay for parking! I would suggest coming with a big group of friends and ordering a few items from eachof the categories. Ordered Tunisian Bruschetta – Tuna Conserva, chick pea mash, tomatoes, cucumbers, hardboiled egg. RoastedEggplant – Heirloom tomato, caramelized onion, balsamic, almond Stewed Chickpeas-Meshouia, feta, crusty bread Braised beefcheeks- Slow braised beef cheeks on creamy polenta served with arugula and crispy shallots Hot fudge (probably wrong name) –Gluten free chocolate cake and Tunisian date, scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with out fudge. We wanted to thank the Chef sothe owner brought his wife out. Chef/Co-owner Lenora was so fun to chat with. Can’t wait to come back! Read more

The food and atmosphere here are amazing. We got the Sunday dinner special, fried chicken and homemade biscuit. The flavors were... so good, and the service is great. We also got the appetizer sampler and the braised beef cheeks. Highly recommend! Read more
