Nice atmosphere. Probably the best TexMex version of Mexican food I've had since moving here. Was a little challenged with the... service so I'd rather give 4.5 stars, though it worked out fine in the end so I'll stick with 5. Definitely will go back as thiswill be my new go-to place for Mexican in the area now. Highly recommended. Read more
Went for first time to enjoy and find a new Mexican restaurant to enjoy. I found the food quality mediocre but acceptable. I... was willing to give it another try next time. There was to be NO next time. It was tax free August and they charged taxregardless. When I brought the tax free Tennessee for restaurants and groceries to the owners attention he went into “ignorantmode” and acted ignorant to the fact. Gave me the lame excuse he did not know of it and does not know how to correct thebill. “It is all done in the register.” Anybody doing business at this retail level knows better. We used to go here all the time. Tonight we went and it took our waiter 20 minutes to come get our drink orders, after another... waiter told her we had been waiting. He was handling his own tables and checking on us at the same time. This is my regularorder. Never in the year I’ve been going here have I seen anything like this on my food. I was obviously concerned that it wasblood. I was not angry, I actually said “I am not mad or complaining, but did someone cut themselves ?”. She said “I thinkit’s seasoning”. It’s hard for me to accept that answer when it was only on one taco, I get this every time I come in andESPECIALLY hard when she didn’t come back to my table and someone else was sent to give us our check . I was not angry. I wasconcerned because I am pregnant and if I consumed someone’s blood, it’s important for me to be checked. I also wanted tomake sure whoever it was was ok and made sure the bleeding was taken care of. Either way, I’m really upset with our waiterover all even if this was not blood.
