This is a cool little coffee shop with a laid back vibe. The coffee was good, but nothing to really write home about. The... breakfast sandwich, however, was pretty amazing. 8 was really excited to see gluten free bread on the menu! We arrived shortly after 8:00 AM on Sunday, and ordered a hot latte, hot cafe mocha, and a breakfast sandwich. It took almost 20... minutes to make the expresso drinks, then another 10 minutes for the sandwich to arrive. Multiple people arrived after we hadand received their coffee and food orders before we did. When I asked about why this had occurred, the explanation was: Theyhad a person in training, and the people prior only had a black coffee, so their food was sent back sooner. This little coffee shop is a hidden gem! The coffee is the best in town and the staff is so friendly. Not only is the coffee... delicious. But they have a wide variety of breakfast foods from pastries to yogurt and biscuits and gravy! The biscuits andgravy have to be made from scratch They are so delicious! Also, the decor is so cute. I had visited back in December, as a recommendation from a good friend who actually works here! I've personally never been much... of a coffee person, so my palatte is pretty limited. I can easily say, with absolute confidence, that Stomp'n Grounds made meactually crave coffee. I stayed in Hermann for two weeks, and almost every day I had a drink ordered because I was itching forit. I'm not a local, which is a shame, because all the time I wish I could just come back for good food, drinks, the cozyenvironment, and friendly staff! Would absolutely recommend people stop by, but just please be aware that sometimes it can getbusy! So long as you have the patience, it's well worth the wait. <3 Read more
I loved this cafe. The atmosphere and food were amazing. I got the vanilla latte, croissant, and a ham and cheese on croissant... bread ? it was all amazing! Had the breakfast burrito, it was delicious. Coffee drinks are delicious, I like the iced farm raised chocolate milk latte. One... size available. The slices of bread and cookies look delicious as well, can't wait to go back and try. Also had the freshsqueezed orange juice and it was delicious. Clean bathroom. Wakey wakey!! Great place to start your day in Hermann! Some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. Good service and... cool atmosphere. I had a latte that was good as well. Spent a good 30 mins there with my wife chatting, nice spot. Read more
