A few things: I had my wedding reception here. Originally we had planned on our event being in the venue upstairs (The Loft)... which is lovely! Our wedding date happened to be on the hottest day of the week and we may have not all fit upstairs so ourevent got moved downstairs. Our reception was amazing! The restaurant was transformed for us! The staff was amazing, the foodwas amazing, the whole event was just wonderful! Spring helped us through all parts of the planning and was so helpful inanswering our questions! We?ve been here several times for meals, but having our reception here was truly perfect! I?m a personwho freaks out about everything, but there was no time that I didn?t feel in capable hands. This place is not only gorgeous, but the food is fantastic and the drinks are fresh. We were here for two days and had to come... back here before we left to try more. The tasting at the front is a great way to start off the experience and the girl whohelped us was super knowledgeable! Loren the bartender was extremely friendly and gave us some great tips of where to explore.Overall, our favorite place in Hermann and will be coming back! Read more
We stopped in this past weekend for our third(?) visit. We have always enjoyed the mixed drinks, food, and the bar staff. This... time we made a point to have dinner after a full day. The menu offers a variety of options, probably overpriced (but this issomething of a destination), and I felt like the food didn't live up to the ambience or price. I think in the future this willbe a stop for a late afternoon/early evening cocktail, and maybe an appetizer. Read more
Tried this restaurant for the first time with our group of 5 people. Reservations recommended. Pleasantly surprised! Friendly... greeting from the hostess. Helpful, responsive and friendly waitress. Delicious entrees, sandwiches, burgers, sides, andsalads ?everything we tried was wonderful. Awesome seasonal cocktails ? my favorites were the ?Fall Margarita?, ?Yuletide?, &?Maple Pecan Old Fashioned? (sampled a little of each). ???? Decided to try this place out on New Year?s Eve and avoid some of the more bar and grill type options in the downtown area. I... really appreciate the attention in decor. It really had an upscale Feel and I appreciate the investment. Our party of four got avariety of things one person really enjoyed the fish and chips, and someone else was particularly happy with the brisket mac &cheese. Drink options were nice, however I really would?ve liked to of had a bit better beer selection. Even if they would?vebeen more upscale to match some of the premium drinks I wouldn?t have minded. It was somewhat disappointing that the most exoticbeer was Elysian. Our server was pleasant and quite attentive. I think her name was Heather, and she did a nice job.
