My sammich was absolutely perfect! My girlfriend got some boneless chicken and they gave her more than 10 and the chicken was... huge! My cauliflower was absolutely delicious! Every sauce we had on our chicken, sammich and cauliflower was just as good asthe other. We?ll definitely go back! Oh yeah! The fries were perfect as well. I got the ranch buffalo rub on mine. Great service, the staff was happy to explain the menu and ordering to us first-timers. We enjoyed delicious boneless, bone-in... smoked, and bone-in fried wings, with garlic buffalo, cherry bomb cherry BBQ, truffle buffalo, and medium regular buffalosauces. Fabulous service in a funky little shop slinging the yummiest vegan wings! This place is a feast for the eyes as well as the... palate. The sauce options are dizzying, but we "narrowed" it down to four. All were totally delicious. Lots of drink options(shout out to the $4 bumpers!) both alcoholic and not. The Cocky Rooster was recommended to me by a friend that shares my love of wings. I took my son there for his birthday dinner... and I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. The place is mostly for takeout orders there's very limited seating inside asyou can see by the pictures. As you walk in and you will place the order yourself on a touch screen with very little interactionwith the staff. Some issues I had were the beer I chose wasn't in stock, don't know why it was on the menu, but it was. Iordered the lemon pepper wings along with a dry rub and one of the Wings came in as buffalo sauce which I did not order. Noissues with the quality of the food, the wings were great. We stopped here for some wings. I got a chicken sandwich, which was delicious. You can order ahead or inside the cute dine area.... The chicken may have been air fried and the girls didn't care to much for the texture. It's a plus you can grab an adultbeverage to tag along with your meal. Wow this place is good. We have ordered from the Cocky Rooster twice and both times had great experiences. The wings are crispy,... juicy, meaty goodness especially with the liquid gold sauce. Good lord their liquid gold is the perfect sauce for wings and forsopping up with their fries. The fries are my personal favorite style, on the thinner side, fried after being coated in cornstarch to enhance the crispness, and seasoned just right. Did I mention how delicious this place is? My family has been lookingfor a good wing spot in Short Pump and finally we have found the best. Read more
