I enjoyed my experience here overall! The only thing I wish were that the brunch menu were a little more expanded and/or offered... til later in the day. Went for dinner with my wife on 7/26/22 for 5:45 reservation. Server was horrible. We sat for 20 minutes before she came to... table and then told us ? I guess I am supposed to talk to you.? We looked at each other in amazement. After that still no wateror bread and no server. She came back to take order, never wrote anything down and when salads came out, the dressings werewrong. Still no water or bread. At that point we got up and left and she came running after us yelling ?all this because ofwater?? I said ? we are leaving because you are a horrible server.? We left. We were so excited to have a nice dinner at a nicerestaurant but because of this servers horrible attitude and lack of caring it destroyed our experience. I get the fact thatit?s hard to find good help, but this was ridiculous. Not to mention the other server that brought out our salads had her shortscut so low that it bordered obscene. It's been almost 10 years since I've been and it still had it's standard, MINUS the yummy bread they used to have when they... seated you. However, service was great and they can accommodate outdoor porch and side seating along with their indoor seatingarea. Prices are a little higher on the reasonable scale. I got the delicious steak tips, a whiskey, and a kids meal withdrink was about $50. Honestly, always loved this place and loved that I got to see and enjoy the new updates! Read more
Finally had the chance to try Country Spirit Restaurant and we all had a lovely time. The Restaurant was cleaned and well... staffed, though it was not too busy during our visit. They had a decent selection of food including appetizers. Their chickennachos were a hit and with 6 people, we still had leftovers. I feel that all the food was really well done though. I was askedhow I would like my burger prepared and I said medium but my burger came out hockey puck black and hard. Everything else wasreally good though. We ordered the 16 Oz Ribeye, my wife's was thick and juicy, mine was thin and not all that flavorful. The starches were cool, ... rice and baked potato. We were overcharged for drinks that were never served and asked for coffee with dessert, something weenjoy. To be fair after asking to speak with a manager, they revised the drink bill and comped the desserts, we weredisappointed as they had no prime run and disappointed with the meal and service, sigh Read more
Great & rustic place to dine in. Food was good! Will go back for sure & try their prime rib when available next time.
This one deserves the 5 star today! Sat in the bar and the bartender was attentive, informative on the menu and so kind and... polite. Didn't need to ask for refills at all, she was on it and the bar was full. Atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and localitems were for sale in the front lobby. OMG Salad - beets, carrots, kale, walnuts, goat cheese, broccoli, spinach, avocado, addsteak tips, cooked to medium, spot on. Tried 3 different homemade dressings, buttermilk ranch, honey mustard and lemon poppyseed, all delicious! Honey mustard for the win on the salad and buttermilk ranch with French fries was a win! Kids burger andfries was a large portion and came with an icecream at the end. French Dip was on a toasted soft roll, not pictured since itwas too good. French Onion soup was what snowy days at home should feel like, enveloped in warm melted cheese. Peanut Butterpie on the way home was nailed with a balance of a chocolate cookie crust and a creamy peanut butter cheesecake liketexture.
