One of the best places to eat at in the area. I remember when they used to be mason jar before they moved from their old spot.... Ver few times I eaten here and was not satisfied. They always seem to keep nice waitresses and staff. Good food and people. Read more

I saw this little meat and three driving on New Shackle Island and decided to give it a try because the small out of the way... places are usually the best. I got my food to go and ordered chicken fried steak, okra and tomatoes with squash casserole andmashed potatoes. The chicken fried steak and gravy were good, but the tomatoes and okra were incredibly acidic and tasted likethey came out of a can. The squash casserole was "soupy" and the mashed potatoes were okay with added pepper. I give it a 3because at least 1/2 of it was good and the service was uneventful. Food was not fresh. Chicken was mushy, fried okra was burnt, beans and mac and cheese were cold, and had the nerve to ask if i... wanted dessert. When I got up to the register and ONLY mentioned the beans that I didn?t eat, the conversation became on how alady said they had the nastiest apple cobbler and that she wanted her money back after eating most of it. The lady only gave her.40 off she said. My meal with ?tip? came to $15. So, I don?t think she took the beans off even though she said she did. Itwasn?t worth $2. This place is a Joke! I took my Elderly mom there for breakfast today and we both ordered 2 bacon & biscuits and Coffee and she... had a orange juice and almost $40.00.. I about fainted and actually got mad. Needless to say "I WONT EVER BE BACK IN THEREAGAIN"! But in all fairness they are the most expensive meat and 3 in all of Tennessee!!! Read more

Probably will not go back. Service was not good. Some food was cold had to ask for everything. Jelly for my toast, butter for my... grits an additional cup of coffee ect... Ordered through Grubhub over the weekend so we didn't have to get out. Biscuits and gravy came WITHOUT biscuits. Hashbrowns... were an uber greasy pile of unseasoned potatoes. The omelet and eggs were mediocre. Definitely won't eat here again. Read more
