Just had an awesome date at Demos?. I tried the blackened chicken potato and it was YUMMY. I loved the family atmosphere and the... servers were great. As we were about to leave we noticed a large party coming in and their were appetizers on the table BEFOREthey sat down. I thought what a great idea to order ahead but in actuality they were on the house appetizers because of theirwait. I THOUGHT THAT WAS AMAZING. I asked for "medium well plus" steak tips and they were more on the "rare side" and the pieces weren't even warm. Demo's needs... alot of improvements in several areas. It used to be one our go to places for dinner but we go very rarely now in hopes of itbeing better each time, but find we're disappointed instead when leaving. Over the last few years, only twice was it good. Oneach visit, we saw a manager who used to be there when it was so good years ago but we haven't seen her in awhile again now. When she was there, "everything" was better, the servers cared, looked clean and the bread was like it used to be when therestaurant originally opened and the food in general was good. I don' t know her name but she and one other Mgr. who shetrained under from many years ago were the best!!!!! The food just isn't good anymore and the restaurant isn't as clean butthat could be due old flooring needing to be replaced. Please consider many changes to better this restaurant. Thank you. Dependable place to find a great meal at a fair price with great service. If you are hungry, you will not leave that way! The... food consists of quality ingredients, the menu is extensive, and the servings are large. They are known for their homemadechicken soup (which was kid/teen approved by my son) and fresh bread (delicious). With a casual atmosphere Demos? is great forlunch, or dinner when the cook at home needs a break. The restaurant is large with seating available for larger parties. Weordered the Chicken Salad and two Cheeseburgers. The bread on the burgers wasn?t your typical bun (due to the large size of thepatty) and was a pleasant surprise to the burger connoisseur in my party. All agreed everything was very good. This restaurant is just amazing. A great homey feel with friendly staff. I've yet to have a poor experience. The menu is... diverse, with a verity of pastas and classic American cuisine. Some great menu items are the hamburger steak with the best bakedpotato in Nashville, the Mexican Spaghetti, and chicken Alfredo. Don't miss out on this restaurant if you are in the Nashvillearea. Okay so this was my first time ordering food for take out from here and my last. What a joke. The portion of the Cajun chicken... pasta I got was so small I swear it should be on a kids menu, I mean for 14 dollars I would expect more. I upgraded to thedeluxe salad and for the life of me I can't figure out what makes it deluxe?? Lettuce, tomato, bell pepper and a2 cucumber,really?? I get ranch as my dressing and they didn't even fill the cup up half way let alone the whole way. Thank you Demo forripping me off tonight. Not to mention the pasta was ice cold when I got it home and I don't live far from there, and I arrived10 minutes before my pick up time. Read more
First and last. Pro - great staff pro- great bread con - the salad was served on a small plate. Drink serve in the smallest... glass. Food very little portion and sorry to say very disappointed. Food is just plain, bland, and tasteless. The spinach whichis the specialty was hard. Read more
Demos' is my go-to for affordable and delicious pasta dinner. Especially when I am sick!!! Seriously. The downtown location... sadly no longer exists so I don't visit often but when me or my hubby are sick, I call in an order of 2 quarts of oven bakedchicken and rice soup plus a pan of rolls and a quart of Alfredo sauce for dipping as we feel better. The chicken soup is worththe drive alone. The Alfredo and bread is a welcomed bonus. Feeds the two of us for two days while we heal ?? Read more
