Love seeing the guys and gals at Mountain Deli. Always fast and friendly service. I usually go for the hot carved roast beef,... but today I came in early for a bacon and cream cheese everything bagel (a real NJ staple) and it was spectacular, took mestraight back to my favorite bagel shops growing up. Visiting Hendersonville for the first time and we found this deli! Really fresh and delicious soup and sandwiches. Very good... price and friendly staff as well. We tried the cuban and the tomato soups and they were delicious! Come try this delicious deliout! Read more

A bit disappointed. Look at the attached picture. We ordered three bowls of all three of their soups to go. Got home and opened... the containers and they are less than three quarters full. The corn chowder was the last that they had so I can understand that.Measured out, a bowl of their soup is less than 8 oz. To me, that's not good value for the price. It's a shame, the peopleseemed very friendly and it looked like they had some great sandwiches. (And to top it off, the soups were not that tasty.Frustrating. We wanted so much to like this place) **you do realize, that by definition, 8oz is a cup. So you just proved mypoint. It's not a bowl. Read more
