Just stumbled upon this accidentally at lunch. I like these types of places. Experiencs are good for life. There Are booths for... the review below this states not. It's a gas station burger and food joint. Don't expect what it is not................ Read more
Until today I hadn't been to Griffins to eat since 2017 and I didn't write a review then so I'll do it now. Back then there... were booths. Those are gone now. Back then the food was surprisingly good for an out of the way "greasy spoon." I didn't getto try anything from the menu this time because I left almost as soon as I came in the door. There were two old ladies chainsmoking on the porch which was turn-off #1, turn off #2 was the grubby mid-lifer working the grill in a dirty shirt two sizestoo small for him. And turn-off #3 was that I actually took time to park and walk into this place ready to spend some of mymoney until I got inside and realized it was just the back end of a gas station. A partition, an enclosed kitchen, some betterseating and clean clothes for the employees would do wonders for this place..oh yeah, a cook who doesn't look like he coulddouble as a mechanic and a waitress who actually notices when a customer walks through the door might be helpful also.
