We normally don?t do this but it?s necessary this time. We were seated at a table with a used floss pick and dirty bandaid... underneath. Despite that we were seated by the host who clearly enjoyed his job and was very kind so we didn?t say anything. Thewaitress was very kind but quickly informed us they didn?t have any soda. My husband opted for lemonade. Which he couldn?t evendrink because it was ?awful? We ordered our food. My food came out okay but my husband received a steak that looked and feltlike a hockey puck as opposed to the medium rare steak that he ordered. This is such a fun place. You walk into a playground for folks big and small. The food is really country style. I ordered... takeout and the meal was ready and hot. I waited for only a few minutes but I got to see tons and tons of stuff to delight me,things I hadn't seen in 50 years. There were toys and music and candy and clothes. A very pleasant atmosphere. We were seated very fast. Our waitress was very polite and very attentive. I ordered the southern... fried chicken, the chicken was extremely fresh and hot. Placed an online pickup order. I ordered a salad. The salad is half brown and rotten. Issue is I work in the medical field and... returning it is not even an option. I called to speak with the manager and get told ?oh naw she?s on the grill your gonna needto call back. What is it you need?? So now I?m baffled. The manager is on the grill where my chicken cooked but no one noticedthe half brown lettuce?! First and last time. Read more

I placed an online order to go about 2 hours before we needed to pick it up. When my husband arrived, the food wasn't ready... until about 50 minutes later. When he brought it home, the mashed potatoes were undercooked and flavorless and the meatloaf wasburnt. I submitted a review to Cracker Barrel, but never heard a response. We love Cracker Barrel's family meals to go and thiswas the first time we've ever been to the Henderson location. I can safely say we will never be back. Read more
