Came across SkinnyFATS on Instagram and am so glad I did. The entire vibe of the restaurant is a breath of fresh air with its... healthy and happy concept. The menu offers items that are around 600 calories for those of us watching our figures and alsooffers the not so lighter menu items that are still light on the belly. I had the Chix on Broadway which is a breaded chickenbreast sandwich with BLT, lemon herb aioli and red onions ???????? I ate it all and did not feel gross or bloated after likewhen I've eaten a subpar run of the mill chicken sandwich. Had a good dinner here with a friend. Food was tasty. We both had the Sweet Cheese Us and it was awesome. A really good Philly... cheesesteak sandwich with beer cheese sauce. We had fried pickles too..a little over fried but we ate them all. Read more
I love Skinny Fats and I have been at this restaurant so many times and always had a great experience. The unique retro and... artistic design makes this place so cool ???? and special. Great food. Its got such a great selection! I love that all theirfood has such a refreshing, healthy aspect to it. Its one of my favorite places to eat. Great taste, and good for you! I liked that this restaurant can appease both those looking for a healthier or lighter option as well as those looking for... something more savory. The fountain drinks all have cane sugar as opposed to high fructose corn syrup. Definitely a great choicefor a quick eat to help a lot of people eat and be satisfied. Read more
What happened Skinny Fats?? This place used to be so good, one of our favorite spots in Henderson. Yeah it was expensive but the... food was worth it. After our experience a few nights ago I've had to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. We ordered takeout and my wife got the Hail Ceasar, I checked the bag and realized her meal was missing. Went back in and told them, saidthere's a plain side salad but not her meal. They told me what I thought was a very plain side salad, was actually her $10 meal.I included the pictures of what we thought we were getting VS what we actually got. I had to order another $15 entree because Iknew there's no way that "Hail Ceasar" would be enough for my pregnant wife. On top of that they cut the amount of chickentenders you get with the Hot Chix by more than 50%. You used to get 3 tenders with the salad, my meal had 1 tender and somebreaded peppers in their place. Seems like they've tried to cut costs to save a bit of $, but in doing so the quality of theirfood has taken a nose dive. Sometimes trying to save a few dollars isn't worth the amount of business you lose by doing so. Itsucks because we really enjoyed their food, but after the other night we'll never eat there again. First time here. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I must say this restaurant does not hold back on the heat for spicy hot food.... The Shrimp Tacodillas is a prime example. Not ghost pepper hot but close. Portions are large for the side orders, so are easy toshare. Read more
