Line was unusually long but the staff was extremely quick at getting orders taken. When Junior brought my wrap and repeated the... order, no cheese, he set it down and before I even noticed he snached it back up, said there's cheese on this and was headedback to the kitchen. Only a few minutes later he comes back with a new one the way I ordered. He also offered to refill ourdrinks which was nice. Now you might be reading this thinking what's the big deal? I asked Junior if he was a manager or whatand said no, just here to help. He was bussing the tables. He's not a waiter, you don't have a waiter there. He's a greatemployee who shows what Takoma customers is all about. 2nd time here in 6 years, I live close by and this will be a new regularspot. Thanks crew! Read more
We've come twice and tried four different sandwiches. We've not been disappointed either visit.

First time here and it was fantastic! The sandwiches we had were delicious. And they have FREE soft serve ice cream. The salad... bar was opened and it had a great variety of toppings as well as different types of lettuce. Will definitely go back. Read more
This place is huge, felt like a upscale cafeteria but not in a bad way. Service was quick and friendly. Just order at the... counter then it gets brought out to your table when ready. I got the chicken pot pie and it was really good so I'll definitelybe back so for some chili and probably a baked potato. Also as a nice bonus there's free soft serve ice cream available afteryour meal, really hard to beat free ice cream on top of great value and tasty food. Read more
Decent food. I liked it. Towards the end of our visit, an employee dropped a small container of salsa, and it bounced off the... floor and all over me. I was shocked into silence. I had it all over me, on my face, in my hair and all over my clothes. Heapologized and brought me some dry napkins? What he should have done was brought the manager over to me and handled it betterthan he did. I was so shocked, we said nothing and left.
