Compare to other Mexican restaurants.. Don Tortaco is the BEST, AUTHENTIC Mexican food. The corn tortillas TASTE like corn... tortilla and the four tortillas..OMG!! Like my Grandma used to make. we?re trying all type of Mexican food and it?s verydelicious and very filling. First time here a friend suggested. I normally Go to fausto's this place was substandard. The tacos had very little chicken and... where greasy from the deep fryer the bean and cheese burrito was plain and Bland. We ordered the Carne Asada Burrito special and the Chimichanga plate. The food was ok. The chimichanga could have been fried a... little better as it was not crispy at all. The carne asada burrito could have used a little more meat but had good flavor. Thebeans tasted like they came out of a can and they were probably the hottest item on my plate. Great food!! The only reason I gave 3 starts is because the owner has become cheap with the salsa!! Look at it!
We like this place and would recommend it for some quick decent Mexican food...its clean, its quick and the staff is polite and... helpful. We've been there several times and had the same experience each time. There's really not a whole lot to write about.It's an average place for a quick meal. Read more
