How this place has 4 stars I will never know. My boyfriend and I love L&L Hawaiian. And have been looking for something similar.... The one on our side of town has horrible service. So we tried this place. Absolutely nasty. Rice was dry macaroni salad wasbland and the chicken was grey and chewy and mushy. First time eating here, and it was really good. I got the chicken katsu w curry and spam musubi. The chicken katsu was really... good and I loved the flavor of the curry. I didn?t like the chicken in the curry. It wasn?t trimmed and had a lot of fat on it.I didn?t eat that chicken. First time eating spam musubi and it was also good! I will definitely be back. Just ordered their local plate (teriyaki chicken and beef w/2 spam musubi), TERRIBLE! Never again! Boiled meat with the WORST... teriyaki sauce drenched all over EVERYTHING which made the musubi wet. Nice little spot with great decor and solid menu. Pricing is really good for the options factoring in that most places have... raised their prices quite a bit after covid and the service was wonderful. Definitely recommend checking this place out as theL&L nearby is usually packed with a decent wait time. I'll be back here soon that's for sure. Read more
Been coming here for years but the past few months/year they added a Fried Chicken special that comes with rice and choice of... Mac salad or kimchi for 8.99 and it's Fantastic!!!!
