This local restaurant is one of my favorites in Henderson. I make it a point to eat there on every trip. The food is fantastic... and probably the best place to eat. The staff is wonderful and remembers guests, even the ones who visit monthly. Great food fora great price. I will continue to make this a regular visit on my trips there, and recommend to everyone visiting to eat there.You will not be disappointed. Read more
So the Roots bowl is pretty good!!! The greens are in the bottom and have a sweet vinegar heat, paired with a very almost honey... like corn with jalapeños. We ate here last night and the food is tremendous. I got the filet and it was one of the most tender steaks I?ve ever had!... Grilled to perfection alongside the smashed potatoes and veggies. The cornbread and banana pudding were outstanding as well! Mywife has Celiac Disease but the chef and staff were all very knowledgeable and went out of their way to serve her. New favoriterestaurant! This is my second time this week at Hometown Roots. Great service! The music is fun. The food is flavorful and fresh. My... salad had nice dark greens with tomatoes that tasted as if they came right out of the garden. Tonight I ordered the Shrimp andGrits. My favorite of all of North America!!!! Fun menu and inventive cocktail list. The line out the door on a Saturday night let me know that it was a solid choice. If... Rebecca and Rex are at the bar you are in for a treat. They know how to pair a great beer or cocktail with whatever you orderand we'll make sure you have a good time. (I know it's hard to take a picture of a bathroom sink but I thought it was clever.
