Been living in the area for 4 years, and finally decided to watch the Astro's playoff game here. My wife and I ordered the... wings and a double cheese burger to split. The wings were AMAZING!!! They were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside andtinder on the inside. The sauces to choose from are also excellent, my favorite is the bourbon sauce. The burger was "NEXTLEVEL!" The burger was also perfectly cooked. It was juicy and the bun was very good. It wasn't a bun that turns to mush froma little bit of juice, but it stayed together and had a great flavor. I'm not one to eat fries, but the fries were on pointtoo. The only drink I ordered was a Spicy Parrot, and it was wonderful. The owners were very personable and involved in thebusiness, which is nice. They are very down to earth and made sure our experience was great. This will be my new place to gofrom now on. I did not enjoy my time. I asked for a bloody mary and it was horrible, i was hungry but by the way the drink tasted i didn't... want to take the risk to order food. I didn't even drink half of my drink. I ended up ordering onion rings and left. The astrosand Texans were playing and they only had the Texans game on. I see alot of ads on Facebook so I wanted to give the place atry. Bartender was ok. Read more
It just to be a cool affordable place to go to drink beer and eat delicious burgers but since the owner sold the place... everything changed, beer is expensive, burgers are dry, wait staff isn't friendly anymore, sims like they are cutting qualityof food , they are close bc they're on vacation or bc it's too hot outside (which I understand is Texas... ) but still it's notnice to go and ride for hrs just to find out they are close bc they are on vacation, must of the places I go the owners go onvacation but they still have people working keeping customers happy , we found a place 5 mins away called Rita's or rittas (bigbertha's)( I highly recommend) we paid les than 20 dollars for 6 beers, at the thirsty parrot we paid almost 60 dollars for 5beers and 2 burgers (dry burgers) not coming back any time soon. A local drop in kind of place. Been going there for years. New ownership growing pains are to be expected but getting better as... new folks get the particulars figured out. Bike Friendly, Biker Friendly, Folk Friendly, Dog Friendly, just an all around goodplace to grab a quick meal and a cold one...or just a cold one... Read more
It was actually better than expected, but the only thing special was a really nice outdoor patio, which was the reason we... stopped. Only two functioning beers were on tap (two were out, so they only had four normally). Food was standard bar stuff withtheir own minor twists... mostly just in the names. May I ask what nachos with ground beef has to do with Jamaica? Read more

This is a local favorite, and for good reason. Very good food, cooked just to perfection. I ordered the popcorn shrimp with... fries. The fries have their very own thing going on, it's not just potatoes, VERY original and delicious. If you are in thisarea, you will not leave disappointed, stop and see if I'm right. Read more
