While unexpectedly needing to stay in Helena for a couple nights, we searched for a pub to have a late lunch. This place turned... out to be a great choice. Two levels of dining with a great selection of beers, pub fare and attentive service. The onion ringswere served hot with perfectly crispy breading, the clam chowder was creamy with nice sized pieces of clam and veggies, thebacon on the BLT was crispy and flavorful, and the side Greek salad was very fresh with the perfect balance of classic elements.This place is clearly a local favorite, and for good reason. I was thrilled to rediscover the brew house downstairs in the last few weeks. With restaurants suffering through a staffing... shortage, it's been difficult to find a place that can balance quality, attention, and accuracy, while still having reasonableprices. Emily, Rachel, Cassie, Ginnie (I hope I got the spelling right), Kylie, and Rob have represented the front of houseimpeccably, while Rusty and his son (and I apologize for not know the names of the rest of the back of house crew) haveadmirably held down the logistics of serving correctly made and delicious food.
