I work in the food industry and I understand how stressful it is. But making some wait 2 hours for a Togo order is Ridiculous.... I watched people come in sit down order there food, eat it and them pay and leave. Someone came in an hour after me and gotthere food before me. I also didn't have a big order! Stopped in with some friends for a light night dinner. Service was great, food was really good. I'd go back again.
I don?t know if it was a race issue or what but my family and I went to have breakfast here and we had to wait so long to get... our waffles. This young man didn?t even ask us if we wanted more coffee. He just kept staring at us and walked around talking.By the time we were done with our other part of the food we waited like 15 minutes just sitting there and no waffles or anyonecame to ask us if we needed anything else. I had to get another server to get us our late waffles and I had to just take themhome. It was a really bad experience. I do understand that they are busy always but this was obvious that the young man didn?twant to attend us. If it?s going to be a whites only restaurant please put up a sign so we know. Read more
I love living in a small town that has a Waffle House that is clean, wonderful service and the food is great! I want to say a... special "Thank you" to a lady named "Liz"!! My grandson and I was there on 30 July and then on 6 August I was there with mygranddaughter. Both were visiting from out of town. Line was out the door, waiting for a seat. Before church crowd. Employee came in for her shift singing. That put everyone in a... good mood. It was extremely busy at this location, but watching all the employees work together like a well oiled machine...likea ballet. Food was cooked perfectly. Good southern hospitality. Gave a 25% tip. Well I understand restaurants and know times aren?t easy, but when you allow a wait in store to wait 25 minutes, (not taking any... phone orders so had to wait, didn?t mind) but continually allow people to sit at booths and take and submit their orders, whilstI waited patiently, is just wrong and rude. After 35 minutes I just left because they kept NOT taking any order except sit down.Disappointed. Was I just supposed to sit down then say TOGO? Weird. Give it a shot. Maybe they just like you more.
