We stopped at Crandall after a fun morning of picking apples. The place had a farmhouse/ cabin theme and was cozy. The owner was... super nice and got our huge party seated as soon as she could. One big win is finding hand sanitizer at every table. Such agreat idea when you come with little kids who are constantly touching things even after washing their hands. We ordered a bunchof things. I got the pepper steak. It was ok. The pepper pieces were a little big to my liking but it tasted ok. I loved themushroom soup and the rolls. One of my friends got the taco salad and said the meat was perfectly tenderized. The men gotunlimited broasted chicken and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I felt that most of the food had the good old homemade feel andthat?s what made this experience special. A nice cozy, warm place with food that tastes like something from grandma?s kitchen. Idon?t remember the name of our waitress. She was super patient with our group and had a constant smile. I had heard great things about Crandall's through Lake Geneva Lake Life on Facebook. So the wife and I headed up Friday for the... Fish/Chicken AYCE. The fish was fried and IMO just average but the chicken was memorable. The broasted style is what I like thebest. Super crispy skin and tender meat inside. Visiting from out of town and had a wonderful experience here. The waitress was very polite and pleasant , the guests on our... side table were friendly and we struck a conversation. Had a really enjoyable time here. Will def return when we are back in thearea. The chicken was AWESOME with that hot sauce! One star off because there was a bit of a wait when we got there -even thoughwe didn't see anyone else waiting to be seated. We liked it so much we came back with 3 others. First visit was Broasted Chicken and Broasted Pork Chops. Chocolate Cream and... Banana Cream pies. My last visit to them I wasn't impressed with the fried fish but the chicken was great. I have been here many times in the past... for AYCE fish and chicken always great. But I finally went on a Sunday for there brunch. I was very disappointed in the serviceof waitress and how slow they took to replenish the food on the buffet. The food was great but you had to wait so long. Theprice is very reasonable so I was overlooking the time it took. So if your not in a hurry it's great the brunch is only from10am to 1pm. Read more
Soooo chronically understaffed! I feel so bad for our waiters and waitresses when I go. They work so hard and fast I always try... to tip a bit more. Amazing food and atmosphere, I love sitting at the tables next to the back outdoor area! Also, the cheesecakeis a must try! Read more

So so so so so so good. Went here for the second time ever today and took my fiancé from Maine here. He absolutely adored it as... did I. What other restaurant served cinnamon rolls to you as their dinner rolls? Ugh. Their homemade chicken pot pie is todieeee for !! Ugh, absolutely adored.
