Absolutely recommend going here. Staff was super friendly, the food was amazing and the drinks were delicious! The dining area... is covered in amazing art work! It is such a nice change of pace from the ordinary. We are looking forward to going back andtrying other unique dishes. Read more
food was pretty good but staff seemed to be more interested in standing by the bar and talking (loudly) to each other than... serving people seated in the restaurant. we were also disappointed to be informed that several items on the menu wereunavailable only after ordering them. like i said the food was pretty good but i won?t be coming back because of the experiencei had dining in. We has brisket nachos, half slab of ribs and the "corn hash" elote. The smoke on the meats was perfection. Meat falling of the... bone tender on the ribs. The nachos were HUGE with fresh authentic ingredients. We took more than half home in to go containers.Solid rocks mango margaritas but could go a little lighter on the ice. Saw that this place just opened in Crystal Lake and my husband and I have been looking for a Tex-Mex place. We loved it!! The... whole vibe with cool art on the walls and plenty of space when we walked in. We had the sweetest server Jules. Such a cutevoice. She was very friendly and attentive. I ordered a tequila club soda and my husband had Corona. To start with we had thestuffed jalapeño wrapped in bacon and it had great flavoring with a little spice and the cheese inside wasn't super heavy. Myhusband also wanted the Elote which usually I don't like because it can be too heavy but it wasn't! Very generous amount of cornand the homemade tortillas to go with were perfect. Then I just ordered two individual tacos the Al Pastor. Amazing! theflavoring of the Pork so good smoky with a little spice and all I had on it was cilantro no onion and I asked for choppedavocado. Then had the chorizo taco it was cooked good but I am not used to chorizo flavoring so preferred the Al Pastor. Alsotheir salsas they bring out so good one definitely is a little more spicy but we like spicy. My husband got the El Jefe sandwichand he loved it! We will be back to try more.
