Well. Where do I start. Me and my spouse were there last week. I wanted to try the honey bbq chicken. I and my husband had a bit... each. We did not like it at all. So I tried to return it. To get something in its place or my money back. To let you know I am achef in a restaurant for over 20 years. When someone doesn't like something we ask if they would like to try something else orgive them their money back. This was not the case at Bayside in Antigonish. It was my fault because I tried the chicken. Whichdoes not taste like Honey bbq. I ask for management and he said he was it. I called to see if I could get it resolved. I amstill waiting for a call back from the owner. Which I don't think I will ever get. He kept telling me it was the spice they useand I took a bite. That is NO excuse for not giving me another 2 piece's of regular chicken. So I throw the box in the kitchenarea. The story he gave his manager was I didn't give him time enough to explain and return my money. It's all on camera. And Ithink 10 minutes is plenty of time. We won't be going back Bayside. I think they should be tough the rules and regulations inthe restaurant industry. Unset customer means 1 less customer or customer. I will be letting my friends know how I wastreated. Mary Brown's is the best chicken and taters out there. Anytime I am somewhere that I can get an order from Mary Brown's I always... stop for a meal. The food is always fresh and tasty. The staff is always welcoming and do their best to make it a positiveexperience. If there is something in your order that you do not like they will try to switch it for something that you do like.I am not a fan of coleslaw so I asked if I could switch it for gravy.... they had no issue doing this for me. Had some chicken and taters last night from here. I?ve eaten at all the other Mary browns in Halifax all three of them. By far... this has been the best. Now I?ve eaten in the place?s in Halifax the one in Fairview has the same quality as this new place Ijust wish you would open one in Sydney so I wouldn?t have to drive 2 hours to get my fix.
