If you are looking for an amazing thin crust pizza, this is your place. My son had the Bianca pizza and I had the Verde pizza... and I am already dreaming about going back. The crust was crunchy at the right places, chewing in others. Toppings were perfect.Who knew this was possible? We got there early and got the best corner window seats. Read more
Was tipped off to try Journeyman Meat Co. by the folks at Aldina. Owned by a Seghesio, naturally their salumi, sausages, etc go... nicely with wine and I'm sure with beer. It's not a large store with the cases of meat and the counter placed into a galley typearea in the front to the left with fridges of product on the right. There is a narrow seating area of mainly cushioned benchesto the right when you first walk in and also some stools with high top tables and umbrellas out front. We needed a snack beforewe went to our next wine testing and their grilled sausages hit the spot. Absolutely stunning experience with Journeyman Meats at their Bacon Brunch! Hosted by Montage via their chef, these meats were... brought to their best. Become a member and get in on these meals! Not ti mention the Journeyman Rose, which was an easy drinkeron a Sunday morning.Bacon brats, bacon jam, corn and bacon bisque, bacon whipped ricotta -- I cannot proclaim the culinarygenius of Montage's chef enough. After the brunch, we stopped by the butcher shop and ended up with two pizzas -- bianca andverde -- and another wine sample! A smaller place just off the main square.. some parking spots infront (a few designated for pick-up). Delicious salumi (with a... fantastic club specifically for it) and cheese boards. ALL the amazing meats you could want, THE BEST BURGERS IN TOWN, andarguably the best pizza in Healdsburg. They have extraordinary wines and beer to pair with whatever you choose. Third time visiting this place and still love it so much! Store is beautifully designed, staff friendly and very helpful, food &... salumi were so so delicious that we signed up for membership (quarterly shipment) during our second visit. The daily sandwichwas meatball which was juicy and flavorful. Butcher's steak was perfectly cooked and the salad and garlic bread amazing likebefore. We took home a bunch of salumi.. of course. Favorite flavors were Saucisson sec, Calabrian, and definitely Parmasen &porcini (goes well with wine :)). Read more
