A beautiful Saturday afternoon in Healdsburg. Many great dining options. We walked around the downtown area; skipped a posh... looking restaurant; and chose this warm and cozy one. What a nice find. Tempura vegetables were perfect - batter was light andcomplimented the veggies. Soft shell crab sushi rolls were on the special menu - wow. Their house brewed green iced tea wasexactly right. When Asahi opened last year, it immediately became my favorite Sushi restaurant in the area. The Omakase experience is... reminiscent of being in Tokyo. They also have a wide variety of rolls. The food is exceptional. The people are great. Read more

An absolutely delightful Japanese cuisine experience! We had a wonderful dinner at here! High cleanliness standards, every Sushi... and cuisines we had were excellent. Especially, Taste of Japan which is mixed up Sushi with Wagyu-beef, echinus, perilla andseaweed (all ingredients are pure made in Japan!) and I wanted to recommend fantastic desserts they have!
