If I could give negative stars, this place definitely earned a solid -5 stars. Wanted to give this place a try as I pass by it... all the time in downtown. Didn?t have any issues when we ordered, but it seemed that they forgot about us as we waited almost anhour to receive our food. People who got seated later than us, ordered and got their food before we did which was ridiculous. Our waiter only checked on us once and that?s not until after the long wait, towards the end of our meal. They were definitely alot faster when it came to collecting the bill. They forgot to bring us our soups which we didn?t even want anymore afterwaiting 45 minutes and giving us the wrong order. Quality was okay for sashimi, not worth the price listed for such a smallportion of food and horrible service. I would say the croquettes were okay, we enjoyed that the most considering that was all wehad during the long wait. Wanted to give it a shot, especially after all the good reviews and praise here, but it doesn?t seemto match up. I rather eat grocery store sushi over this garbage. We shouldn?t have to flag and hunt down the waiters just toremind them to bring us our food. Food and service were unacceptable, won?t be returning. Come here if you want to be forgottenwhile paying outrageous prices for mediocre food. Read more

You MUST go here! The staff here at Sapporo are just super friendly. The food is amazing (and I'm a vegetarian) and priced... right. There are many craft sake's and beer's to choose from. Parking in the lot behind it is an easy minute walk. Try a fruitinfused sake tell them James sent you and give an over-exaggerated wink ????(you don't get anything special. Or maybe you might????????). They will know I'm out giving them the love local restaurants like Sapporo deserve. Read more

This place is a hidden gem ????!!! The food is amazing!! Always super fresh, it's family owned, great variety of sake, the... atmosphere is chill, cozy, welcoming, the staff is always attentive and incredibly nice. They have an awesome variety ofJapanese cuisine, but I mainly come here for the sushi, I've tried other dishes as well and it's all delicious. Definitely givethis place a try you will not be disappointed, I guarantee you'll be recommending this restaurant to friends and family afteryour visit. 10/10!!! Read more

Went here for my birthday with my family. It was a nice casual atmosphere. The food was really good and the service was super... friendly. There wasn't a huge variety on the menu compared to some other sushi places, but each dish is done really well withgreat quality ingredients. Definitely a good no frills sushi spot. Read more

It is so so. We ordered a chirashi and a beef sukiyaki. Both are not well made. The fish cut is really awkward which I never see... such cut before. The salmon is almost out of fat stripe, poke does better than this! Soy sauce is also not correct. The beefsukiyaki is the worst, as can be be seen the beef is really cheap selected, dry without and fat. The overall taste of sukiyakiis somehow just soy sauce. Read more
