Do you want a big burger??? This is by far biggest burger I've ever had, I think it's called the monster. I like my burgers... with a fried egg on it, so I definitely had to add one on this mammoth. Along with ALL of the sauces. If you're not up for aburger challenge, then I suggest the hang over, or the mushroom swiss. The hangover is basically and bbq breakfast burger withno rabbit food on it. Tri-tip underwhelming, garlic fries amazing! Sandwich: the meat was thin and overcooked to well done, and so was my partner's... burger... still reasonably juicy, but very bland. We forgot to ask for medium, and weren't asked, so your experience might bedifferent. Bread was basically waved over heat instead of toasted. The garlic fries were absolutely delicious, super garlickyand worth ordering on their own. Always happy to find another burger spot that does it right, a lot of places, particularly chains leave me unimpressed, say for... instance, Habit burgers. However, rocket char understands something about hamburgers and that is the construction. You can'tjust go throw a bunch of meat on some bread and call it a hamburger things have to be sliced the right thickness, arranged inthe right way, and placed on the right bun, and the patties have to be cooked the right way in order for it to actually qualifyas a hamburger, and charburger nails it! The burgers came hot and fresh, with the lettuce and onion nice and crunchy the way Ilike it, and the fries piping hot right out of the fryer. 1st time visit. Service was OK, they answered my questions kindly and patiently. Food presentation was good it looked... appetizing. Only issue was that the steak and cheese fries were obviously prepared at separate times - steak was hot & freshfrom grill. Fries were luke-warm and cheese was meltedwhich would be perfect for just cheese fries but the cheese was completelysolid, the warm meat could not impact it. Read more

Best burger place in Hayward!!! We ordered a chicken sandwich, a cheeseburger with bacon and garlic fries. The burger was... cooked to perfection, it was amazing. The chicken sandwich was loaded with fresh avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, fresh onion andjuicy grilled chicken. The garlic fries were amazing, 100x better than the ones you get at the garlic festival. The staff wasvery friendly and welcoming. The establishment was very clean and I noticed they take extra precautions to help prevent thespread of covid. All the employees were wearing a mask and gloves and the restaurant was very clean. During the time we werethere they came outside to sanitize the tables and the outdoor area in general. I feel very safe eating there and reallyenjoyed our lunch at Rockit Char Grill. I can't wait to go back with friends and share a delicious meal. Read more

The food was a bit overpriced (40 for lunch for 2) the burgers were pretty big but nothing to rage about taste wise. The... restaurant is in need of a lot maintenance, blinds are dirty walls need some touch up paint. The staff was ok, we put in ourorder and then got our food so nothing amazing there either.
