There?s a reason this place is rated so highly. Carmen did a phenomenal job creating this food, all while keeping it simple and... tasting amazing. The chicken is big, juicy, breading is crunchy but not soggy and falling apart, the spice level is absolutelyperfect, the coleslaw doesn?t over power the sandwich but compliments it well, and the perfect buttery bread. Not to mention theperfectly crisp but soft fries, the banging sauce, and if you want perfect chicken tenders, this is the place. This is a top 3chicken sandwich, and it is not #3. Was very happy to find a scratch made kitchen in the land of chain restaurants! Nashville hot chicken sandwich had a great... crunch and perfect balance of heat with coleslaw. Will definitely come here again to eat! The fries were awesome as well!! Can?t wait to try the fish and chips. If you have a hankering for fried chicken this is your place! Jumped off 66 looking for a dinner on a rainy evening. Found out when we got there it was a virtual only deal, but the owner... was super nice told us how to order on line and offered to start our meals while we ordered. We had chicken and waffles and aNashville hot chicken sandwich. Fries and coleslaw. Chicken was super moist, excellent crusty breading. Great flavor, wafflewas really nice. Coleslaw was exceptional. Funny how a little brown bag can change your life! Decided to track down this little spot in Haymarket for lunch and so happy I... did. Nashville spicy chicken shack sandwich (deluxe) and fries were amazing! Spice was perfect, chicken was perfect and slaw andpickles were fresh and bright! Shack Sauce is a must. Been here a few times and they never disappoint! Chicken is cooked to perfection and the owner is always so polite and helpful!... This time my wife got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and I got the chicken tenders and fries with that awesome shack sauce!Sandwich was apparently so good my wife crushed it before I could get a picture! I'm no photographer but the food tasted great and was a welcome change over the chain restaurant norm. I love nashville style... hot chicken and coleslaw as well as chicken parm sandwiches. Ghosted Concepts did not disappoint as the chicken was moist, big,and flavorful as well as not overly spicy. Considering the slaw that will naturally make things wet, I wasn't expecting a supercrispy sandwich but after a 30min drive home it was still solid and glad it wasn't sogged out. It was a little too much, whichis good, and would definitely order again as well as try some other things. My only complaint is that I was a little lost butdid find the restaurant sign and the owner promptly brought me my order soon after. The confirmation email has a contactnumber, which I didn't notice, and thought I could walk in to pick it up...but you simply have to park in front of the businesssign as they bring you your order, just FYI. Just laying out the only negative, which wasn't a big deal honestly and moreimportantly the food was worth the small confusion so I recommend taking a chance as the food tasted great. Read more

The... owner is amazing and seriously cares about his food and wants you to enjoy it!!!! Update 9/15: Carmen, the owner, reached out to me VERY shortly after my initial review. He apologized for the mishap and provide... an explanation of the issue based on his investigation. He also asked me to give it another try. My wife and I decided to giveit a try and make it a lunch date. As promised, Carmen made it right. The beef was no longer dry, there are reasonable amount ofjuices, the topping was clean and crisps for a nice added textual, and bread was higher quality then I expected. I spent a fewminutes talking to Carmen and his wife Stephanie. Carmen explained that he wanted to make the Italian beef better, but due tothe lack of the type of bread that would hold up to the large amount of aju, he didn't have any choice but to go with the besthe can find. I total understand knowing what bread is needed and bakery not wanting to spend time and money to make it. Thisisn't the best Italian beef I ever had, but for this area, I don't think you can get any better. Thank you Carmen. Love yourattention to details and your willingness to correct occasional mistakes. You have another family of regular repeatingcustomers! Previous review: One of the best Nashville chicken I ever had. It is flavorful, crispy, and juicy. 5 stars One ofWORST if not the worst Italian beef I ever had.
