Horrible!!!! Do not order from this restaurant.. they gave me the wrong order- the menu clearly had a choice of light garlic... sauce or brown sauce.. I chose light garlic.. when I got the order it came with a heavy spicy brown sauce so I called to letthem know and ask them to correct it. The lady who answered was so rude!!! Kept me on hold for 7 minutes while she took othercalls then told me there is no such thing as light garlic sauce! So rude!!!! I will Never order from them again. Read more
Horrible horrible horrible. Sad thing is the food isn?t half bad, but the staff is absolutely awful and rude beyond belief. We... have tried ordering Moo Sho twice. Both times they forgot the pancakes and plum sauce. Each time we called and the woman whoanswered told us it was our fault because we selected rice. We tried multiple times to tell them their ordering system forces usto choose a rice. The first time, we drove over and a manager/owner said she was wrong and gave us our missing items. This time,she got super nasty and hung up on us repeatedly while we were trying to explain. Additionally, they gave us the wrong soupwhich we couldn?t even mention because she kept hanging up. We understand mistakes happen, but the rudeness is absolutely a nogo ? especially when the mistake is not ours. Attached is a photo from their ordering system. Please do your own taste test. I have three times with three totally different entrees. All flat were horrible. The dumplings... are chewy and very doughy. The soups are tasteless. The king pao was stringy and honestly out of my 50 years, the worst I haveever had. I threw away two whole meals. The hunan shrimp and a lo Mein dish, both tasted like bleach. I don?t normally trash aplace this bad but after 100 bucks I will go without Chinese if it?s Tuesday. That is the only day Gainesvilles best Chineseplace in my opinion is closed. The staff is nice, which is my favorite part of this place. The food is ok and the portions are small. Their "large" is like a... small order elsewhere, but it's weird because it's kind of inconsistent. My general tso's was like half full while other thingswere packed full. I'll probably go back because I like the employees but I'm still looking for outstanding Chinese food in thearea. Read more
I recently had my rehearsal dinner at East Ocean Restaurant because I wanted to have a very relaxed atmosphere where everyone... could enjoy themselves. The owner and staff here were so incredibly friendly and allowed me to have our private event (around 20people) on an evening without charging an additional fee. They even asked if it would be ok to still have people stop in forTo-Go orders and I said of course ? I just wanted to make sure we had the space. The woman, who I believe is the manager, calledthe week before to go over all the details and ask how I wanted the space set-up. The whole process was easy to coordinate andeveryone had a fantastic time that evening! Read more
Leaving 5 stars because of location and the fact they are zabhia halal. I?m happy more halal businesses are moving into the... area. Food is rated 4 star max, there is plenty of room for improvement. My chicken lo mein is on the bland side, it coulddefinitely use some color( see picture), a small portion of veggies would have elevated this. Such an amazing place for halal Chinese food. Their crispy chicken is out of this world. We tried General tso chicken today as... well, and it's just awesome. This place serves fresh food, and the serving size is too good to be true! Would definitelyrecommend this to everyone. Read more
Good food but the staff is very rude. I waited 20 minutes just for someone to greet me and another 30 minute for the food to get... ready. When i asked if my food is ready, the lady says with a very bad attitude "i only have two hands just wait more" and howexactly is that the customers fault? Very bad customer service. Read more
