Toro Viejo, Hayden: "The Old Bull" is a decent Mexican food restaurant in Hayden off Government. They serve up typical Mexican... (American) fare. While I did not have anything extraordinary the hot version of their salsa is good. The service is also greatwhich adds to the 4-star rating here. Read more

Food was average. There were lots of menu options. Chips and salsa were good. We ordered enchiladas and tacos al carbon. Beans... tasted like they were out of a can. Enchiladas had both chicken and beef mixed in when just beef was requested. Taco meat waschewy. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place was a dud. Read more

This is my favorite Mexican food in Hayden, ID.! Very good service and the quality of the dishes are above average. Not as much... room for big parties as Rancho. The building looks to be well maintained as well. Read more

It's not bad... kinda greasy, alittle watery, could use a bit more flavor... Drinks were good. Good service though, nice staff.

Quick seating, nice proficiant server. Salsa was good-had the Sopapilla. Crunchy outside nice amount of pork filling only thing... that would have it better would be another scoop of the green sauce. Read more

Service was slow even though it wasn't busy but the meal was excellent. I'm okay with waiting at a small mom & pop shop. I got... the steak fajitas- very tender steak. Portions were large and people were friendly. Loved their use of Spanish throughout themeal (and English of course)! Read more

We went here because the reviews were good on Trip Advisor. Salsa had only tomato flavor, I ordered hotter salsa... exact same... thing. There were 5 of us our orders were steak fajitas this was about a cup and a half of very dead steak, onions and peppers. The sides were 1 Tablespoon of each Pico and guacamole. Chicken quesadilla- soggy and greasy. 2 cheese enchiladas 1 beef - Noflavor . Calousa - ok not great. He at it. The last one was a 8oz ribeye with fries and salad. A fry was thicker than the steak.itook a picture. The waitress was working her butt off. Save your money and get a Swanson frozen Mexican dinner. Read more
