Wonderful little winery. I impulsively stopped by when I was driving past. The staff was helpful and fun to chat with and the... wine was DELICIOUS! I love the Cranberry Harvest as well as the White Sangria. Grateful I decided on the tasting and to purchasethe stemless glass I used. Beautiful view and delicious fruity wine. What a gorgeous place to enjoy an afternoon. We were lucky enough to stay overnight... via Harvest Hosts membership - it was so peaceful! The tour of the winery was really interesting and we got to see the winebeing bottled! Everyone we met there was friendly and welcoming. Best wine I've had, we ended up buying two bottles upon arrivaland 6 more cans before we left. Blueberry moscato was great and sunshine state white sangria is still my fave. Read more

In the middle of nowhere is a winery just north of Ocala, Florida. Hawthorne, population a bit over 1,000 residents and home of... blueberry wine makers. On pending hurricane Dorian to hit Florida and on a very rainy day we pulled in to the visitor's centerand main shop of Island Grove Wine Company. The store was beautiful and staff, two ladies who had worked there for more than afew years were gracious hosts and said they felt like family to the owners. While I was there other customers shopped to myamusement because I could not perceive anyone would know of this place but people knew. The winery was lovely. Read more

Love this place is Awesome ???? besides the great Wine they have ????????. They have really cool unique top of the line stuff.... And some is pricey but there's really cute things cheeper u can go in with $2 bucks and get a coster that you have never seenbefore. Also they carry other good home made and local companies products like hot sauce, jam's, jelly's, wine frozentreats,seanings, mustard's, lotions, soap's etc. I think it's a great place to stop by if you're in the area. Lovely place in a lovely part of Florida. I admit I'm not into fruit wines or country wines, but they have made a lot of blends... that should suit everyone's taste. I found two wines that appealed to me, a dedicated red wine drinker. The prices arereasonable and the folks are really friendly here. Read more
