Extremely disappointed. Usually come here every other Saturday or Sunday. Today will be my last visit! It is always understaffed... but the waitresses do their best to get your food to you and with a smile. However, it takes a while to be acknowledged and haveyour drink order taken at first. But the cook of today should be ashamed of himself and retrained. I think is is CompletelyUNACCEPTABLE for any cook that forgets to put cheese in your scrambled eggs to get your plate back and just throw some shreddedcheese on there, pop it in the microwave and send it back out with overcooked eggs in an overheated plate. And then to call themanager and have him come over after cancelling your plate because now it's been taken back to the kitchen to be recookedcorrectly only to wait longer and the manager also wanted me to stay another 15 minutes while he attends other clients at thefront register before writing a report. I told him don't even worry about it, I don't have time to wait, I am hungry and have togo find something else to eat elsewhere. This restaurant is short staff!! But still served great and fast! There was only 2-3 employees at night doing everything. They... were working hard. Food is usually good specially love the pumpkin pancakes for this season. I think those employees deserve abonus. Lol. Read more
We went to have dinner around 9:00pn on Tuesday August 23, 2022. When we walked in the air conditioning was very colder then... outside The male waitress was friendly he said we can sit wherever we like. Then a female waitress came not so friendly tookour order i ordered the Chicken Addition Bowl waited for about 15 to 20 minutes for our food when I received my food it was coldI called the female waitress over to our table and I let her know my food was cold s8 she took the plate and said she was goingto make another plate. It took about 20 minutes for another plate she was not a friendly waitress at all it was terrible We havehad dinner there many if times I guess at this night it was a full moon or something. I came this morning to the Denny's Infront of DDS and man let me tell you that I left extremely happy with my service. I came in... and immediately got seated and waited on by a male server sorry I forgot his name. But I asked him for a steak and he spoke tome about the options and which one he liked. So I went with his recommendation of a bone steak. He also offered me a strawberrylemonade as I didn't want anything hot in the morning. Seated promptly. Was ignored by my male waiter for 15 mins as he attended to several other guest????????????, I was not asked if... I would like anything to drink while waiting. Due to the duration of my being ignored while with my wife and young daughger. Ithen approached the on duty manager and was immediately assigned a new waitress that returned from break. Great service every time I come to this location. I really want upper management to see how great the staff is at this Denny?s... in Hawthorne. I love how they stay open 24 hours unlike the other location near by that closes at 11pm which is ridiculous.Please stay awesome and keep giving me the great service you all give me. I was there today and I love how they have Christmasmusic on already and how nice they have decorated for Christmas. Not even my tree looks that nice at my house. Read more
