Excellent and friendly service, food is served hot and always made fresh when you order it. Some people here must be used to... Panda express or something. This is real, fresh Chinese food, not something sitting in a steamer under lights that sits until itsells. It is Szechuan not Cantonese so there are some difference, but still a great dining experience. I noticed that most ofthe "complainers" mention price, so you can easily infer how what they paid affected their review. Well let them eat Chinesefast food elsewhere so I don't have to wait for them. We paid $70 for four entrees. Food was not worth the price. The orange chicken was soggy and beef broccoli taste terrible. Our... fried rice wasn?t even fried. The best part was my sprite and the almond cookies. You are better of going to a $1 Chinese fastfood restaurant and will get better food at a cheaper price. Read more

Everyplace you go has it's good plates and their not so good plates. I'd stay away from the orange chicken. The plates they... serve here are to share, not just for one person which is pretty cool. The food here is not worth the money, I really gave this place a chance to try and big mistake. Waste of money the orange... chicken was soggy, slimy and taste of oil. The sweet and sour pork just as disgusting as the orange chicken same texture and notaste but oil. I do not recommend this place at all. Read more

Been here twice dined in the people here are very friendly. Small dining room clean. The food was good hot and lots of spice you... can ask for more or less spice. I seen a few reviews who gave this place a 1 or 2 stating it was to salty on both visits I didnot taste that. My orders both were hot with lots of flavor. This place did not disappoint me in anyway. I?ve been told that when in Los Angeles eat Chinese food. I?m so glad I did. Chinese Friends was a nice treasure among the... Chinese restaurants I was googling in the area. The food was exceptional and the price right for the amount of food. I can notexpress how delicious the food was. It was not that over salted Chinese food you find elsewhere and their sweet was just right. Their presentation deserves a praise (made it that more special). The order came with a complimentary pot of steamed rice. Itwould have been nice to know about the rice ahead of time: I would not have ordered the fried rice but anything excess was takeout. My only dissatisfaction was the fact that they had no allergy information on their food (had a sister-in-law with glutenallergy). Regardless I look forward to the other options on their menu.
