Ktchn is an absolute gem! We went Saturday before going to Casino Rama and had a wonderful dinner. Had a few cocktails and... tempura artichokes to start. Followed by the hanger steak, garlic mashed and mushrooms which was cooked to perfection. My wifehad the salmon and lobster risotto and it was incredible. We will 100% be back! Read more

Only 1 word comes to mind after dining here and that is OBSESSED. This locations atmosphere is unmatched. The food was beyond... delicious and the cocktails were so good. If I could give 6 stars, I would. This restaurant is incredible in its farm to table menu and high quality ingredients. No plate... will be disappointed, even the pickiest. The decor is stunning, with a backdrop of the 9th hole and floor to ceiling windows. Itis literally dripping in charm, with every design detail though through from interior to exterior to BRs. The concept is strong, execution needs some refinement. The Kitchn has so much going for it - a spectacular location, warm and... inviting atmosphere, friendly staff and overall good vibe. Where it falls down is in execution. This was our first time dininghere. The service is kind and refreshingly unpretentious. Unfortunately, our waiter had the impossible task of trying to servetables on the patio, tables inside the restaurant spread out upstairs and downstairs in this large space. To reach us he had tocome up a steep flight of stairs. He tried really hard to provide an acceptable level of service for a fine dining establishmentbut It was an impossible task for him to physically reach all the tables he had between courses. The space is large with lotsof echo. The live music was a little loud but thankfully the volume was lowered making it easier to talk at our table. The livemusic seems to dominate the space over dinner and the musician plays without a break for almost the entire time were at therestaurant for more than 2 hours. Now for the food. Overall it was good to very good. The summer menu is set up to be sharedwith Begin as the appetizers and the mains as Plates, with some steaks. There are a few interesting appetizers in the Begin. Weate the cauliflower appetizer and a Caesar salad. The cauliflower was very good and pretty. The Caesar was good, mustard wasthe dominant flavour in the dressing. Nothing was really exciting us in the Plates so we decided to order the 22 oz steak whichcame with two sides. The steak was cooked as requested with a light drizzle of chimichurri. The four onion rings were greasy,almost like the oil was not hot enough when they were cooked. Although the batter was somewhat crispy, the onion was uncookedinside. Brussel sprouts smothered in a dressing. Mains took about an hour. The wine list is accessible and well-priced. Dan isexcellent.
